Restaurantji unveils Easley's must-visit Mexican dining spots.
“The restaurant was great. The service was quick. The interior decor was on point. The place was clean. They do not rush you to eat or leave. Needs a little tlc at the door to enter the building. Mainly due to trim hanging down and a cable placed in a bad area. The food was fantastic. My only complaint about the food was the kids' chicken. It literally is Dino nuggets and smiley face fries from Walmart. I would expect it to be a cut-up breast or something. I've been to a lot of latin restaurants, and it's the first time the kids got Dino nuggets for chicken nuggets. I wish my boy would eat something different, but kids always want chicken.“
“Can you believe we have not been here since July 2020, just life took us else where and we found ourselves coming by here the other day and it reminded us of this good ole place and now they have seating outside, that is what made us come in today and I'm so glad we did, from the beer to the food to dessert it was awesome! Thank you Los Compadres for the great food, good talks on your patio. We had it to ourselves And was playing some music....Good Times!!“
“This is probably the most authentic Mexican restaurant we have been to in South Carolina. The atmosphere is Mexican and very inviting, the staff was courteous and attentive and the food was delicious. Coming from Texas it has been hard to find a restaurant with any authenticity to Mexican food. We will definitely be back!!!“
“Very reasonable prices for good sized portions. Everything tasted very good and fresh as well. Sauses and Guacamole were very good. It's a little plain if you are looking for ambiance, however if you are hungry, you found the right spot. Service is good as well.“
“One of the cleanest restaurants I've been to. Friendly staff. Perk was having a small salsa bar! Food was good. Service could have been a little better but it seemed there was only 1 waitress for most of the restaurant at the time we went. Would go back.“
“After driving past this restaurant many times, I decided to give them a try. The restaurant was clean, not crowded and the staff friendly. After my failed attempt at the Mexican Bakery El Buen Pan to get a Tres Leches cake I tried La Casita. My order was to go, I ordered the cake for my co worker, a quesadilla and a churro for myself. The menu is extensive with some of everything on it. They have a small self serve salsa bar with disposable gloves. Placed there for people to hopefully use them. Notice I said hopefully. The patrons at the other table didn't do this of course, no fault of the restaurant. My wait time wasn't too long. The churro was warm and rolled in cinnamon and sugar, the outside was crispy and the inside was soft and chewy. The quesadilla was crispy and had seasoned shredded chicken breast and cheese inside. The Tres Leches cake was a chocolate cake, it didn't look like other tres leches cakes I've seen, the presentation was a hmmmm. I can't give my opinion on the taste, I'll leave that to the coworker I got the cake for. It's a nice restaurant that I would order from again.“
“Immediately upon arrival, we were served with menus and then chips with salsa and it was plenty. Then we ordered and my wife chose the Texas Fajitas along with the beans and rice. I chose the 2 chicken Fajitas with beans and rice as well. Plus, I added 1 soft taco. This food was so incredibly good we found we couldn't stop eating and so enjoyed it. A friend from my wife's work recommended this restaurant and now we have a new to go to. BTW...this enjoyable experience with 2 waters with lemon was only $27.06. We were amazed and the food was excellent.“
“I was pleased with my visit today after not having gone to Tipsy for a few months. Their lunch specials are a great deal!I got two of the Philly tacos and a side of street corn. The corn was really really good! It had a nice buttery taste. The tacos weren't quite as good as I remember them being in the past, but definitely edible. Nothing wrong per se.My daughter got the lunch special tres, which came with a full plate of rice, beans, enchilada, and one taco. Definitely a good deal for the price! We will come back sooner next time.“
“Excellent little spot in Easley!! Had the 3 taco lunch special (comes with chips, salsa, and a side of rice+beans) and a soda for $13.SUPERB service, friendly staff, clean facility, quick refills, hot and delicious food. Will be a regular now!“
“You can judge the authenticity by the tortillas. They make them in house and not store bought. If you are looking for authentic mexican food, this is it! Had tongue, tripe tacos which were delicious. Visiting from Florida, hope to come back soon.“
“I was afraid that we would be stuck in a wait since my friend and I went during the lunch rush. They got us right to a table and our server was with us before we could blink.Amazing food with good prices. My friend got a taco salad and I got the Mr. Cactus Burrito and we both loved what we ordered.Dietary restrictions: When the server was told we didn't want any cheese or any other dairy type products on our food he understood and we got our food with no problems“
