“Woodstone has truly "cooked up" a Blue Ribbon restaurant and destination venue with their new Ownership and reLocation into the heart of Florence.Over the past several years (when normally it would decline), Woodstone has only gotten better and better.The food is HOT and FRESH,The wait staff is Numerous and friendly, refilling the Tea non stop sometimes.The buffet selection is amazing.Several of my favorites are the Friend Squash and Fried Shrimp!The pulled pork barbeque has flavor in depth and subtly.The hot and cold deserts are too good to pass up.Just these few positives above are what makes the LINE go out the door most days.If you haven't been to Woodstone in a while, you need to check it out.They are the BEST BBQ buffet in the Pee Dee!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegatables to pick from, however make sure before hand if they were cooked with any non-Veg seasonings.Parking: There is parking lot surface parking all the way around the restaurant, if you come at 12 or 6 then it may be full!!Kid-friendliness: This is a typical buffet setting, so kids are more than welcome and if you have Picky eaters, they will find something here.“
“This recent arrival is a welcome addition to eating options in this part of Folly road. We stopped by for Saturday lunch, prompted by several positive comments on social media. We were not disappointed. The restaurant has several types of seating, well spaced out. Service is friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. The menu offers a good variety from which to choose and we found our meals tasty, well prepared and well presented. We left thinking the restaurant was in the nands of people who now how to make it work well. We will definitely be back“
“Had lunch there yesterday and ordered the Chicken Philly with gus' chips. Everything was hot, fresh and brought out to table quickly. Meal was excellent and took over half home. Great staff and friendly customers. Love giving back to the community, I will return and recommended.“
“Man listen. This is luxury food!!! It’s worth every mile/penny/moment!! This place is where you bring your family. This is a family place where you can guarantee nobody is a stranger. I had the fish. Fried Chicken. Mac n cheese was Thanksgiving best!! Perlo, butter beans bbq chicken. N cabbage chicken n dumplings. Yes ?? I pigged out and had food for tomorrow. “This is one of my two favorite restaurants in Florence. The food is great, and they have some great twists on their appetizers (adding pickle and fried chicken to devilled eggs, for example). Their fries are really good, too.I always order at the bar, and both bartenders are very nice, genuine people.“
“The food was good. 1st time to eat here. The service was awesome. They are polite and friendly. The sandwich I got was $8, like I said it was good but I feel it did need a little more flavor to it. All together I still give a 5 star!!! Thank you guys!!Parking: The parking lot is somewhat small but I would park on the street to go eat there!!“
“We had a lovely lunch here and everything we ate was delicious. I’m not sure what the low ratings on here are from because we thoroughly enjoyed our food. I had to knock off a star for Atmosphere because we unfortunately picked Sunday to eat, where my husband and I were stared at by a man the entire time, who then told my husband we were going to hell because of the way we look. He gave us a pamphlet to “educate” us on his religion. The food is amazing I just would not recommend going on Sunday because of the judgmental people who frequent that establishment. The staff was excellent and very helpful as well, just wish we hadn’t gone on a Sunday. We left feeling very uncomfortable and hurt and felt harassed. It put a damper on a family outing.“
“Passing through Florence (like everyone else LOL) and needed some eats. 1720 was a good choice, homemade burgers and fries, great option given all of the other fast food in the area.We just stuck to the basics, couple of custom burgers and fries. Everything was cooked well, fries were hot and very good. Full bar, plenty of options.We would definitely recommend 1720 to anyone passing through.“
