“Every time I've been to this restaurant I always choose tacos from the street taco section, I believe there are four different choices, perhaps five. Not sure exactly. What I am sure of is that every one of them is amazing and I can honestly say no other Mexican restaurants in the area has tacos as good as these!Kid-friendliness: It's as friendly as any other Mexican restaurant when it comes to the idea of kid. Friendliness, I will say all the chairs are extremely colorful!Wheelchair accessibility: Anyone with a handicap will have no issues accessing the dining area of the restaurant.“
“Perfect place for a quick delicious meal. Service was very good and quick. Food came very quickly after we ordered it which was exactly what we wanted was a fast and easy dining experience. Don’t let the atmosphere fool you. The food is a step above your local hometown Mexican restaurant. Eating here is better than eating at any restaurant on your Mexican vacation.“
“After a day of driving down I-95 we ended up at Margarita's and it was a very pleasant first time. The chips were served with two salsas - one with a nice kick. The draft beer's are a bargain - $7 for a very large Dos Equis. The fajitas came with the usual side dish of rice and beans, larger than many others. The steak was very flavorful but could have been a little more tender.Service was a little on the slow side but probably due to lack of enough wait staff.They do charge a fee for using a credit card - something that diners should be made aware of before ordering. Instead it is printed on the check they bring you when you are done.“
“Ordered a taco salad. It wasn't bad, just not great. I ordered it with shrimp and the shrimp was delicious. The rest of the salad was a little boring. Service was pleasant and they kept our drinks full. Atmosphere is cute though from the outside it looks a tiny bit sketchy. Don't be put off by the outside not being perfect. I would definitely give it a second try when I am in town.“
“Best Tacos I have had in sometime. The Mexican BBQ Tacos (Beef Cheek Meat) and the Tripa Tacos were Awesome!! The Hot Sauces are just right with the sensation of Hottness! Delicious Tortillas that are hand made for your order of Tacos. Very Good Restaurant!!“
“Great place to eat. Service was really nice, not to mention the food. Every time we go, it only gets better. This will always be our go to place. Best in town. Since the move, service has slowed somewhat and music is way too loud. It has sorta lost the closeknit feeling, but the food is still great!“
“For years I only went to one particular Mexican restaurant only a couple of blocks from my home (that I swore was the best in town)until I tried Palapas! Now I drive across town whenever I crave Mexican. My favorite is the mixed quesadillas. Always juicy and full of meat. I usually call and order and pick up in the drive thru.“
“Quesadilla was very good. Good flavor on the steak. Love their handmade corn tortillas. Side of beans had really good flavor also. Husband said Mexican sausage taco was not that good, but steak, and pork tacos were each good. (He liked the flavor of the pork better).“

“Im not sure why the rating here isn’t higher. We are locals and eat here frequently and this restaurant is one of only a few places that have been extremely consistent with food quality. Not only that but their recipes and cooking ability is superior to any of the typical Mexican places. I’m assuming people want a particular atmosphere or perhaps there have been issues as admittedly they seem to run on a small staff. Having much restaurant experience I can look past that personally. I will say this as the bottom line; you go out to eat for the food and you cannot get better Mexican food in Florence than this restaurant and they are remarkably consistent in a time where we find that the vast majority of restaurants are not.Go eat at Pedritas and enjoy your meal and get this rating up“
“10 out of 10 I'd definitely come again the food was delicious we all ordered the burrito California it's a must have this was the best burrito California I ever eaten the service was outstanding she was the only person running food drinks and the smiles ? the dishes they served were very eye catching but the deliciousness and fresh taste was the main catch.“
“Hailing from Los Angeles I have had excellent Mexican food, and San Jose’s is on par with the best I’ve had. This is elevated and sophisticated Mexican cuisine. The veggie quesadilla was smoky and had a complex flavor profile; the veggie enchiladas with spinach sauce were top notch. Try the skinny spicy pineapple margarita. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend this spot if you’re in Florence, SC“
“Overall everything was good and service was fast. The atmosphere was clean and friendly. They had a little boy, maybe 2yoa, he walked use to our table with the host. Too adorable and smart. Made services just that much better to me. He was hiding out when we went to leave. I had to tell on him. (He sneaked into the area between the two sets of double doors) (They say a good worker is hard to find. JK)“
“Vegetarian options: Just let them know we are vegetarian and they cook it separately for us, vegetarian food.. very nice and polite people, good service and not too pricey.Definitely recommend this place for people who want vegetarian food in Mexican style.Parking: Lot of parking spaces behind the restaurant.“
