A perfect little dive bar! I saw many reviews about the painkiller drink, so I was intrigued to try it. Thank god I did because it was really good!!! Highly recommend it. They're wings are the best on Folly Beach! They compare to New York wings (which have the best wings...New Yorkers you know what I mean). They're burgers are great as well as their Philly Cheesesteak. If you aren't into the noise, I'd recommend going early and during the week (Mon-Thurs).
Food, drinks, and service were all amazing!We had hanger steaks and painkillers... both to die for! Makenna was our server, and she was the best! Literally the best service we've had in a long time! She was so personable and really made us feel like part of the Surf Bar family ❤️ Can't wait to come back and hopefully have her as our server again!

My favorite place on Folly. My wife and I tried to go tonight for a painkiller and our favorite burger. Place is closed. We asked around and sounds like it may not reopen. We are very sad tonight.
