“The food here is incredible. We came for brunch, were seated right away. We had the Biscuit Bake and the Monte Cristo. It was soooo good, flavorful and savory cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back to try everything on the menu. Can't wait!Prices are very reasonable too.“
“Showmars Indian Land is fabulous for a delicious meal takeout. I call in an order for pickup - highly recommend their Greek salad with grilled chicken - for a delicious and healthy meal when time is limited, or you just want a delicious lunch or dinner without any hassle. They’re friendly, fast, and food never disappoints!“
“I really enjoyed myself at The Royal Cigar Bar & Bistro. We arrived just as they opened on a Saturday, and the owner and staff gave us the Royal treatment! This is a black owned and family operated business located just 5 minutes from Carowinds. This is a membership only lounge offering a carefully selected variety of cigars that are properly stored to maintain for freshness. They did have a decent menu selection of sandwiches and wings, and the drinks were great. Overall, I had a great time. If you are interested, I would definitely suggest the membership. It's definitely worth the value!“
“The service and amount of good was awesome! Little local place that has great southern home cooking. Only negatives: change your ceiling tile from leaks you had for sometime now and miss the later dinner hours on the weekend. But overall, it's one of our favorite local spots. Easy on your budget, too.“
“A real dive, but in a good way. Definitely a locals bar - always the same faces, but still friendly to strangers. New owner (full disclosure - he's a friend of a good friend of mine) is slowly making improvements but keeping the divey character - which is a good thing. It's always busy but service doesn't suffer at all. Parking is a bit of a nightmare - the regulars often double park each other because there's not much room - but I've always found a spot.Parking: Not great, but there's usually something. Or park behind another car and just be sure to listen if someone needs you to move.Kid-friendliness: It's a bar. Keep your kids home.“
“Monte Cristo was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Onion rings were top notch, as was my wife’s patty melt. Bartender Brandi is first rate. They could use a low carb beer option not made by Anheuser Busch. Plenty of parking and conveniently located.“
“My husband and I came here because nothing else in Steele Creek opens late but I’m so glad we did… Our new favorite bar!! Food was awesome, and drinks were great(ask for Holly)! The owner blends in with the staff and was so attentive… yes definitely coming “
“Fantastic spot to grab some food if you're visiting the Greenway! Surprisingly good selection. And you can't beat the view overlooking the Greenway, whether you sit indoors or out. Bring your kids. They can't play right outside the restaurant.“
“If a foreigner visited and asked me to take them to a place that encompasses the fine cultural and culinary heritage of South Carolina, this is where I would take them. It is a national treasure that must be protected at all costs. I would lay my life down for this place. ? ?“
“Usually go to the other location but wanted to make a trip out to celebrate a special occasion. Ambience was great, atmosphere was clean and proper, and food was on point. In addition we had absolutely the best server who took care of us and our children. Couldnt have asked for a better experience“
“Captain Steve's has good food. Although it's a seafood place I always get chicken tenders and fries. I think I did get perch one time. It's something about the way they season there tenders. They pile it up. So much food for a good two days. Even when you dine it the amount of food is crazy... In a good way. If you haven't tried Captain Steve's in Fort Mill, sc or Harrisburg, please do. You won't regret it. Never had a bad experience. It's best to get there when they first open or you will be waiting on a long line.“
“I’ve been going to this place since the beginning of spring 2023. Love the food there, I’m a burger guy. Love the atmosphere. But most of all, love the people there. They treat you well. They know you by name. Love the vibe there. Sometimes I just go there to be uplifted.“
“Excellent restaurant and bar. Stellar selection of Bourbon! Quite a few "hard to get" options.Salmon was perfect. Would have loved a separate side option along with the salad, but honestly the price was great. I can't really complain.“
“We are here from western Tennessee visiting our son and daughter-in-law. We went to Hobo's last night for dinner. The place is unique in several ways . It is located in an old brick corner building in downtown Fort Mill with ample parking in the back. (front and back entrance) The inside is nicely done with booths, tables, and counter seating available. The service is fast friendly and attentive. They have a great selection of top end pub food. Consisting of burgers, other sandwiches, salads, and specials. I had the pastrami Ruben, and my wife had the BLT. It had fried green tomatoes on it. Our son had the California burger, and our daughter-in-law law had a steak salad. All were prepared perfectly and presented well. All that and very reasonable! Hard to beat. Check it out!“
“Whitaker's offers a delightful sushi experience right in the heart of Fort Mill. With a 5-star rating from the locals, it's clear that this place has made a positive impression1. The menu features a variety of Asian cuisine, including sushi bars and cocktail bars, perfect for those looking for a mix of flavors. Customers rave about the original sushi rolls and the good variety of flavors. The happy hour deals are particularly enticing, offering great value for money. One unique aspect of Whitaker's is their house-infused cold sake, which is a nice twist for those accustomed to hot sake. The ambiance is described as hip and modern, making it an ideal spot for a date night or a fun evening out with friends2. While the location can be quite loud, the quality of the sushi and poke bowls more than makes up for it, with many customers claiming it's the best sushi in the area. The service is also highlighted as being on point, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. In summary, Whitaker's seems to be a fantastic addition to Fort Mill's downtown dining scene, offering fresh, flavorful sushi and a vibrant atmosphere. It's definitely a must-visit for sushi lovers and those looking for a lively spot to unwind.“
“My father and I ate lunch here a couple of months ago, but I had forgotten to write a review. Anyways, we went at a slow time (weekend day, Saturday I think) around 12:30. I got the fettuccine alfredo with chicken and that was surprisingly good even for being a tavern restaurant. My father got the angus cheeseburger wrap and he thought it was good. There was one server there serving the whole restaurant and she didn’t even feel the need to write down our order to remember it. The restaurant was very clean and we had a great experience overall!“
“Small space, but it is a great stop. They have alcohol specials daily. We went on Monday for half off glasses of wine. We originally stopped in to have a glass while we waited for pur Uber to the next spot. The wine, service, and food were so good we stayed for the evening. Russ was our bartender, and he was very welcoming and insightful. I wasn't hungry and looking for food but we shared some small plates and I could have eaten more food if we had time. Amazing place to go.“
