Our party of 4 walked in without reservations on 12/16 and found the atmosphere to be quite cozy and pleasant. We sat at a huge very comfortable booth. Our waitress was an A+. I first received a salad with a Gorgonzola dressing. I had never had that but it was similar to a blue cheese dressing. That was quite tasty. I ordered the fall scallop risotto and I loved it. Opens at 4 PM. A Georgetown locals fave but on way back from Charleston if it's near opening time, that's where we stop for dinner. The atmosphere is quaint and laid back, the daily specials and menu selection from seafood to chops includes low country influenced creations by the chef. Spent Friday night at the bar. I started with Fried green tomato and it was excellent. I had the wagyu steak and shrimp special. The steak melted in my mouth and the sides were delicious. The bread that came out with the salad was the best table bread I have ever had. I had the brownie dessert that was too big to finish.
