“Authentic food! Huge menu! My husband is very happy with their selection and often orders food he can't get at other Mexican restaurants. Service is always good, make sure to check out at the counter. They even gave us a sample of their new pineapple tamales! Which turns out is delicious. I hope this place gets busy because they deserve it.“
“When it comes to fajitas, I have high expectations... This one isn't that bad nor it's outstanding. Price isn't that bad either. The place can get very packed up during busy hours so expect noises from drunk people lol.Our server was, I don't know if he's not in the mood or what, but he's a little bit unenthusiastic.Parking lot is pretty good even during busy hours.“
“We traveled from L.A. to visit our family in Charleston, and while out and about we found this hidden gem, I mean Lucy's Kitchen. Here we found Mexican and Puerto Rican food, everything was delicious. I recommend the Torta, the Mofongo, the Swiss Enchiladas and the Mole Enchiladas. Excellent flavor and good portions. Wewe were there on a very pleasant Saturday and we could even enjoy live music. Everything was delicious and we had a very pleasant time. Thank you Lucy's Kitchen. Of course we will return!!!!“

“I’m Mexican, from California & lived in Nevada for a while. But Mixteca in South Carolina is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The decor is very nice too I love the designs on the chairs and I love the Mexican style plates & cups. They serve you so much food & it’s delicious so it’s well worth the prices and the service was amazing. The jalapeño we received with our molcatjete was so spicy and I loved it so much!! Spiciest pepper ive had too , I love spice so I was so happy and thankful for the best & strong pepper. We’ll be coming back again :) thank you!“
“My husband and I got it least once a week. He ALWAYS gets the texas rice and I try different dishes. I have NOT been disappointed! The staff is really great and friendly! “kinda hard to see looks boarded up. Their service needs some work. Super nice people running the place, family owned. However, where they lack in atmosphere and service, they sure as hell make up for it in great mouth watering dishes . it surprised the hell out of me. “me and my boyfriend go here like every week. employees are always so nice and the food has never disappointed us. we usually both get the chori pollo. it’s always cooked to perfection and the chicken itself is huge. definitely our favorite date night place to go. great service and food always comes out fast no matter how busy they are.“
