“Outstanding experience celebrating my mom’s bday!! It started as we walked in the door and walking out. Molly and her team was perfect on every point - descriptions, suggestions and service. Thank you, we will be back!! PS Get the burrata salad!!“
“I chose to celebrate a special birthday at Urban Wren. We hosted family members in a small dining area. It was a fabulous evening! Our server a total pro, staff members all pros, cocktails and menu selections the best we have had in Greenville. Thank you all! Jan Bailey.“
“The food and brunch cocktails were as amazing as the service. The patio was shady and dog friendly. I should have asked for my server’s name because she explained to us northerners what grits were and let us have a sample for free. She was so kind.“
“This venue is the perfect place to eat a really real burger. Sharing there with friends is great because the volume of the music allows you to talk to your loved ones. The beers and cocktails are delicious and ideal for having a good time. The service is amazing tooKid-friendliness: Children's menu and family atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Wide doors and wheelchair accessible chairs and tables. Their bathrooms also have access.“
“I love Sobys and always have a great time and enjoy the food . Everything went great , we had reservations for 4 , the food was excellent as always, I had the fried chicken with honey sauce and it was so tender and cooked perfectly and I tried a fried green tomato and a crab cake and they were delicious too and for desert I shared a white chocolate banana cream pie , so good !“
“Fork & Plough is one of my favorite spots! Both the food and service are beyond exceptional! I had the pan seared steak with a blue cheese potato cake a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely delicious! The service was above and beyond and I love the hostess- she greets you and makes you feel so welcome. Great restaurant!“
“Great place for dinner and drinks! Everything we tried was delicious. The sticky chicken, banh mi salad, and shmores were my favorites. There was a little bit of a wait when we went, so we had a drink at the bar while waiting for our table. Every employee we encountered was super friendly. The restaurant has a nice, but casual vibe.“
“It has been a while since we have had dinner here, and once again Davani's was amazing. Our appetizers of stuffed mushrooms and escargot en croute were delectable. The pan seared red snapper special was amazing, with a light crust and a champagne and caviar sauce. Our waiter patiently repeated the specials as we tried to decide, placed and removed plates and additional silverware professionally, and kept our glasses full without being flagged down. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant, with old standards being played in a new way. Again I highly recommend Davani's for dinner. Oh and the bread pudding for dessert!“
“The finest dining experience in Greenville. Superb food and drink, but the staff is what really sets Hall's apart - their knowledge, attention to detail, and welcoming spirit. There are only a handful of restaurants in GVthat perform at this level.Hall's is closely followed byrestauranteur RE's - also superb.Too bad that GV doesn't offer much else other than food - no quality live music venues.“
“A group of 6 of us had dinner here on Friday night. The food and service were equally excellent. The food portions were so large that we enjoyed eating the leftovers the next day as well. We look forward to coming here again in the near future!“
“We had an amazing dinner with friends! The food was excellent and the staff was so accommodating. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quaint restaurant with the quality of any downtown Greenville restaurant. Drew was our server. The staff could not have been any better!“
“Now I did go for a early Dinner around 5 pm and the place wasn't that busy. The waitress was beyond great. Attentive and on point. Came by as soon as we sat down, introduced herself and took our drink order. She asked if we had questions on any item and answered politely. If we placed a plate or glass off to the side she would Swoop in and take it. She checked on us several times. The restaurant is clean and neat and has a woodsy feel to it. It's not a cheap dinner but worth it.“
“We dined at Soby's before our Sunday night show at the Peace Center. Our server was aware of our timeline and kept the dishes coming from soup to dessert without making us feel rushed. My husband raved about the beef short ribs and goat cheese mashed potatoes. My shrimp and grits were traditional but not spectacular. The expresso crème brute was divine. Our server was knowledgeable about the food and drink menu. His suggestions were spot on. He surprised us with an anniversary cheesecake that he served with cappuccino!“
“I liked the sauces.I liked the friendly staff.I liked the refills.I liked the friendly staff.I liked the big sample appetizer.I liked the friendly staff.I liked the fried pickles.I liked the friendly staff.I liked the burger.Did I say that I liked the very friendly staff ?I liked putting 5 stars.“
“Had a party of 20 celebrating 4 birthdays. It was during the USC game and it was packed. Although there were a few hiccups with ordering and receiving food I don't see how it could have been any better. The food was great and everyone loved the outside seating with TVs. If you are looking for a great place to watch games and have some good food this is the place. Thanks again.“
“Best burger in The Greater Greenville areaSo I moved to Greenville about 8 years ago, and was immediately impressed by the lack of a good burger - anywhere. And so I've been trying to find a decent cheeseburger since moving here. Like really, all the places that advertise a "famous burger" of some sort of another: great work Janice, you put more toppings than anyone wants on some unseasoned bargain bin ground beef.Nah, this place I've never heard of before tonight serves me a real simple looking burger, but it turns out to be the best tasting burger I've bought since moving here, and probably one of the top three I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned patties, some kind of great burger sauce. I'd recommend this place to anyone.EDIT 12/16/23: Finally made it back here. Still the best burger in Greenville.“
“Great food. I had the deluxe BLT on sourdough, which had avocado and an egg. The best sandwich I have had in a long time.Eggs benediction was OK because almost NO hollandaise, the best part. The waitress wasn't good. Tipped her only 15 percent. Slow, waited on salt and pepper, drinks came after we were half way through meal, couldn't get Jelly or refills, check took forever and we asked for a side to hollandaise and that came finally when we found her and asked again after we were almost done eating....and then she charged for it.Anyway. Good food and hopefully you won't get our waitress.“
“been here twice, back in august my first time was great. I ate in and the food and service was good. second time, this february, I called in an order and I looked at their online menu before hand, it says you can get the buffalo chicken quesadilla with no side for 11.99 or with a side for 15.99 I call in my order she says what side do you want I said no side, bc as seen online it’s offered with no side for 11.99. I get there my total is still 15.99 for that part of my order, so of course I kindly ask her about it bc why am I being charged more when y’all promote it for less online if you get no side. a dark brown haired lady was helping me. I said are y’all’s online prices different? online it says it’s 11.99 for no side or 15.99 with side, Her response was we don’t offer it with no side I said oh okay well online it says y’all do offer it with no side for 11.99. whole time I’m trying to talk to her about it, she’s talking to another employee as well, I couldn’t even get her full attention. finally she says “well I offered you a side”, I said right and online it’s promoted you don’t have to get one and it’s cheaper. I said if I knew it came with a side I would’ve got one if I knew I’d be paying for one. finally & thankfully she offers me a side and obviously I accept. I’m greatful she ended up giving me a side but I just think her response to the situation was inappropriate & hostile, it shouldn’t be an issue for a costumer to bring a problem to y’all’s attention as an independently owned resturant. i was trying to help y’all & myself. none the less I still tipped her 20%. her response I can get over, I mostly am making this so y’all can fix yalls online prices if y’all aren’t going to stand on them.“
“The Trappe Door was absolutely the vibes I was hoping for. The aesthetic was definitely on point. The food was good, but I wasn't blown away. The service was really good for a super busy Saturday night. Our server was named Danielle and she was very friendly and didn't mind explaining the different Belgian beers on the list. MAKE RESERVATIONS a few days ahead of time. I highly doubt you'll be able to eat there on the weekends without one. All and all I was happy with the experience and food.“
“It was such an unexpected pleasure to meet Christopher at the food truck window! It was very obvious that he is very passionate about running an exceptional food business. He prepares each meal with love and a beautiful smile! The food was delicious! I left feeling happier and like my food was blessed!“
“The meal plans are convenient and a good price for the amount of meals, but it’s hard to stay consistent and buy meals every week when the meal selection gets more and more hard to choose from as the weeks go on. It’s like one week the meals are great, and there’s a nice menu to choose from, and then the next week the meal selection has no good choices. I’m not sure why the whole menu has to be outlandish choices, why can’t a few simple meals be added so there’s something to actually pick from? And I know there’s fridges with other simple meals. But you can’t get those with the meal plan prices. So while it’s been a few weeks of consistency for us, sadly won’t be ordering this upcoming week due to no good options .“
“Easily a top 5 restaurant in Greenville. Excellent execution on creative food with surprising (and very good!) combinations of flavors. We spent for the tasting menu and we're really glad we did. Everything was awesome and our server was very knowledgeable. We had fun talking about the nuances of food, etc. There are so many boring restaurants that do not differentiate themselves in any way. The Anchorage is inventive and excellent. Give it a try and you won't regret it.“
“This place is a very different from your normal Friday night spot. Waiters and waitresses are very friendly and make sure you are satisfied with everything. The food was very good and very well priced. I recommend the nachos to share. It's a huge portion. The ambiance is very theater esc. It does make it hard to talk to people if you are in a group as when the show is going on there should be more quiet than chatter. Overall great experience.“
“I love this place best wing's in South Carolina I haven't seen any other place that can touch them this far I always recommend them to people I got a coworker from north Carolina and I told him about it he went and the rest is historyKid-friendliness: They are always kind and respectful“
“My husband & I both love Yard House.Service is always great. We haven't had anything we didn't like from the menu, and there are a lot of great options to choose from. This place is always worth the wait to get in.5 star service every time!“
“Over priced for breakfast food. Sirloin is best I've had but the food looked thrown together. Wasn't very impressed. Service was fair, but still better than most in Greenville where these servers need to learn how to actually serve, and do so with a smile.“
“I have eaten dinner here a few times with my family. The food is good. Friendly service.Vegetarian options: Green beans, broccoli, mandarin oranges, cabbage, greens, stewed okra, fried okra, salad barKid-friendliness: Family-friendly atmosphere. Highchairs available.“
“On Friday April 5,2024 we were honored to be graced with a special new friend at Sticky Fingers in Greenville SC. The SBS “Sandbox Sisters from Charlotte NC were vacationing, it was late and we were hungry. 9 beautiful sisters met Daniel. He was courteous, professional, friendly, an overall amazing gentleman. Service with a beautiful smile. Shaking margaritas and giving the absolute best customer service we experienced that night. He’s our “NEW BEST FRIEND “ Daniel thank you for being you????“
“Went here for Saturday High Tea to celebrate my daughter’s birthday (and upcoming baby’s birth!) and the experience could not have been better. The wide selection of teas, combined with incredible baked goods - the scones were some of the best I’ve ever had! - and the great service made it an afternoon to remember.I’d strongly recommend their High Tea for anyone looking for a relaxing, elegant time.“
“Just learned of this place and tried it for breakfast this morning. Service was great and the breakfast burrito was definitely not your typical "thrown together" breakfast burrito. Best I've ever had. Four stars for atmosphere b/c it was freezing inside. Otherwise great first visit. I'll be back.“
“Nice facility. Can get busy on weekends. The foods really good but a bit pricey. They have new games you can play. Which was nice. Had a $20 coupon that didn’t work. They said they would take it off bill but they forgot. Oh well. Make reservations.“
“LOVE Culver's! They have amazing food and amazing prices you can get a bigger (and a better tasting meal) for $9 here than you would at any other chain. The atmosphere is amazing, and the service is great. Overall, this is one of the best fast-food places out there!Kid-friendliness: The employees are very friendly to all ages.“
“We stopped in here on our way to Charlotte for some lunch. So glad we did. My hubby and I split the fried chicken sandwich with fries. YUM!! I don't even like fried chicken like that, and I'm already trying to plan a stop on the way home! Definitely recommend.“
“Just love love this place! Another round of fantastic food and service. Tonight's tastings included the Tenderloin Carpaccio with the fabulous Thomasville Tomme Mousse, the Goat cheese Gnudi (paid for 1 extra), Octoupus and Focaccia, Banana Caramal Almond Opera Torte and Carolina Gold Rice “
“Favorite thing on the menu are the cheese curds. Burgers are pretty good. One of the best fast food burgers in my opinion. Their custards are really good too. Their chicken tenders are pretty big in the kids meals and actually taste and look like really chicken breast tenders. The wait is a little longer than other drive thru places, but food is worth it.“
“My girlfriend and I went to Nose Dive after a showing of Cirque du Soleil and were told that the wait for two people was going to be about half an hour. The time was about 6 PM and the restaurant seemed to be quite busy so we felt like a half hour wait seemed reasonable and put our names on the wait list.Within 5 minutes we were sat and had waters poured! My girlfriend and I ordered a mixed drink and a beer as well as an appetizer of truffle fries, all of which came out quickly and tasted wonderfully. For the entrees, my girlfriend ordered the Nose Dive Mac and Cheese, and I ordered the Nose Dive cheeseburger. Though our orders were quite basic, the food was not! The cheeseburger tasted fantastic and the fries were hot and crispy. The Mac and Cheese tasted outstanding and we were both blown away by the portion sizes! The real bright shining star of this experience was our service. Our server, Connor, was incredibly attentive. Our water glasses were never empty and Connor checked on us often even after we received our food. At no point did I feel like Connor was hovering over our table either, as I could see our server at two different tables doing the exact same! At one point, I asked Connor if I could buy the mac and cheese bowl because we thought it was a nice bowl. Connor contacted his supervisor, and then his general manager, and brought us a clean bowl that he had hand wrapped in napkins so that it would be safe in its bag. I believe that Connor may be the best server I have ever had in the past ten years, possibly ever! The hosting staff was incredibly friendly as well when we walked in!All in all I would recommend Nose Dive to anyone who is looking to eat somewhere with quality food and service in Greenville. The pricing is fair for the food you get and the atmosphere was wonderful!“
“Nate was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He definitely made us feel at home once we told him it was our first time. We had a show in Greenville last night so this was the brunch pick of the date All the appetizers were grate and the Yardbird and eggs was my favorite pick. We will definitely be back again. Thanks so much for the hospitality and great service.Parking: Ample parking!!Kid-friendliness: Absolutely“
“Went to this spot on a Sunday night to watch a football game, the atmosphere is laid-back and inviting, our food was piping hot and my salad was fresh and crisp. They only had one bartender but it's a small place so I can see why. The two cooks they had were funny and friendly. Will definitely go back to have a drink or watch a “
“This place is a genuine throwback to the 60's and the chili cheeseburger, fries and chocolate milkshake were awesome! The decor, friendly staff and atmosphere was very nostalgic. I'd give anything if there was a place still around where I live. 5*****“
“Best food and dining experience we have had in a very long time. Portions are very generous, presentation was excellent, and food was delicious. Jeff, our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. We will definitely be visiting again the next time we are passing through Greenville.“
“The best service - whole staff was super friendly especially our server Rob. Great people and the food was so delicious. They had a huge variety of creative dishes and biscuits were perfect. Little slice of sweet watermelon too- my first of the year!“
“This place does not disappoint! The food is amazing. I have to recommend the Sea Bass and the $88 steak. Sounds a little pricey, but it's worth every delicate bite!If you visit the bar, I hope you get Olga as your bartender. She is absolutely wonderful and made our dining experience so much better. Bonus... She has a secret pear drink that is a superb dessert drink!“
“The Flats is an unassuming looking bar from the outside but the inside has everything for a great neighborhood bar.The kitchen staff are putting out killer monthly specials. The bartenders and wait staff making you feel right at home. Loved it!“
“I came down to see my sister 3 days after Christmas. The day that I was leaving to go back home, I wanted to find a place to eat breakfast. I used Google maps and it showed that this place was nearby. I went there and had a Texas farmhouse omelet with home fries. They added cheddar cheese onions and peppers to it for about 3 more dollars. The food and coffee was fantastic. I must say though what impress me the most was the service. My server was Katie. This is the kind of person that every restaurant wants to interact with customers. She greeted me when I walked in the door, sat me at a table and waited on me. She was very pleasant and smiled. And she was very competent at her job. Marvelous job Katie.“
“Haven’t been here in a minute but they didn’t disappoint! We got the 12 piece whole wings with a side of fries, a side of hush puppies and 3 Arnold palmers. Got to the window and saw they had apple/peach cobbler, ordered it and it was frozen, had to ask them to nuke it, otherwise 5 stars!“
“Breakfast is always great here. The service is wonderful then staff are very friendly and professional and are fast at delivering your meal. Just never a wait if they don’t already know what you’re drinking, best believe when you walk in and seat yourself they will be quick about getting your drink order and if you’re ready your food order as well, the at is very comfortable here as well. It’s relaxing and not high strung. Even when the rush hits it is not a chaotic environment. We love Gus, not only is their service exceptional but so is there food“
“This was a super fun place. It had everything to choose from, except for putt putt. That would have been perfect but the bowling lane is aqesome all the colors and has a huge arcade. 2 different restaurants, a little robot that brings you food. And 4 choices of escape rooms. I will say I was surprised that no bottles of water was available. That's one thing that could remedy. Otherwise I had a wonderful time“
“I stopped in to this little hole in the wall restaurant on my way down to Florida from New York. I had 1 of the specials. My waitress Anna was superb, far better than most who have been in the business for as long as she's been alive. Anna definitely deserves a promotion and a raise. The rest of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I definitely got cozy, at home with family vibes from the place itself. The food tasted amazing and would definitely recommend this place to anyone as there's things for spice lovers and comfort food lovers alike. The swamp salt at the table is a wonderful medium spicy addition to any meal. I gave the food 4 stars because I had ordered my food with pasta but received rice which was promptly corrected. Also I would recommend that the kitchen use chopped parsley (dried or fresh) or chives as a light garnish to dress up the plates. Overall, this restaurant is a phenomenal place to eat.“
“I was there, for the first time, for a karaoke meetup event. It was a great time. I ordered several entrees and several cocktails. The entrees were nothing to write home about. The mixed drinks were great. The bartenders were friendly and engaging. The atmosphere is really fantastic. I will definitely be going again.“
