Bacon Bros. Public House

This restaurant has a great reputation. I expected great food based on what I had heard. It was good! Not great, but satisfying. The environment is wonderful, and the wait staff wonderful. Somewhat over-rated.So we ate here during the lunch menu time frame. There's good selection from the menu as far as dinner plates, sandwiches, salads, etc.The only reasonably price appetizer as far as I'm concerned was the fresh made pork rinds which were quite good. I personally would have preferred the seasoning to have a tad bit more sugar and salt in it and maybe a little less cayenne pepper, if it's going to be dusted so heavily. We have been wanting to try this place for sometime and we are happy we gave them a chance. I try not to mention slow service because everyone is short-staffed but we did have an issue with the food not matching the menu and some items (like fries) having no seasoning. The deviled eggs were great.
