“I'm always here because the wait staff have become family. So friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure it's done right. All day long, the people are fabulous and I never get bored. The Scrap Salad is a dream and it's always freshTry it..... perfection.“
“Food is always excellent. Service is quite slow, I assume due to staf shortages like almost everywhere these days. I'm sure they are doing the best they can. Don't expect your online order to be ready when you get there. Ours never is, but the food is worth the wait.“
“They are very clean and everyone is super polite. The one guy whom works there (3/1/24@ 7pm)goes ENTIRELY too fast and doesn't pay attention to the directions that are on the online order. He has made my order at least 5 times, luckily I always wait until i get there to place the online order just to make sure it's correct. He's always rushing even if I'm the only one there and I have to correct him on what is on the order. Other than that I would give them 5 ?“
“Went in at lunch time. A family of 4 ahead of me & that was it. I had to wait for them to place all their orders before I was helped, which happens. However, I think someone could have started my order at same time. Sub was fantastic though.“
“Hey there y'all I'm a subway store. Ya get watcha get and not much more. Kinda plain but I'm just a sandwich bar, don't see me if you want 5 star. Stale atmosphere and the same ole same, but wet got a lock on the sand wich gaaaaame! Good sandwiches, same stuff.....“
“Some of the best food in the area. You can tell they get the bread shipped in. Tastes just like NOLA. The po beast is worth every penny. Shrimp and grits were amazing. We will be back. Might even get a photo before inhaling the food. Excellent staff and atmosphere as well.“
“I remember the first time I went, we were greeted by the owner unknowingly. He was friendly and wanted to serve, as well as the rest of the staff. The food was made fresh and it was a very well kept restaurant with lots of cool history in downtown Lexington. We have enjoyed our visits and will keep going there for the food and service!“
“First time in a long time and the people that work here are wonderful and kind!!! Highly recommend, check it out! This location is the best!!!Vegetarian options: You can literally order anything off the menu and turn it into a vegan or vegetarian dish.“
“Coming from NY, the bar is set pretty high for us in terms of burger joints. This is truly the closest thing to home we have discovered here in SC! The atmosphere is 100% on point! The staff are all very sweet and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied, except they mixed up our plates/sides. The food, I would give a 6.5 - 7.0 out of 10, but the prices are on par with the food and given the atmosphere and homey feeling of this charming roadside spot, makes dining here an even greater value! A clean, homey, friendly place with decent food! If more attention to the condiments on the tables had been evident (most ketchups had barely any ketchup in them and the malt vinegar they brought had barely an ounce of vinegar left!), then I would have probably have rated this higher.“
“Wow! Since Fire and Spice closed I have had a hard time finding a good Philly Cheesesteak Sub near Irmo and Lexington. So, I decided to follow a recommendation of several fellow foodies. With low expectations (I thought they were cold subs only), I decided to try try Jersey Mikes on Broad River Rd near Irmo. I was extremely shocked when my cheesesteak arrived. They call it the Big Kahuna and it was it loaded with an excellent flavor. It had beef, onions, peppers, mushrooms, jalapeños and cheese that were cooked to perfection! Definitely top 5 ranking. BTW, if you like a little ketchup added, bring your own as the don’t have packets. It was so good, ketchup was not needed. I will be back!“
