“If you’re thinking about stopping, do it. My wife and I just picked up some food after months of passing by their truck and only wish we had stopped sooner. We tried their quesadilla and beef and chicken tacos, and man did they marinate and season everything beautifully. It’s the closest we’ve had to authentic Mexican food we’ve found in Charleston. We will definitely be making the trip back to John’s Island just for this truck.“
“Large servings, be prepared to take home tomorrow's lunch. Excellent food. I had the seafood chimichanga (two, I could only eat one) that came with a salad, sour cream, beans, and rice. My wife had the chicken fajitas. Add on the margarita and daiquiri and the cost was no worse than anywhere else with half the food. Service was excellent, do leave a good tip.“
“This is a great store they have fast and friendly service basically anything you buy from the store they will prepare for you all you have to do is ask authentic Hispanic food taste delicious the owner is awesome and Kimberly is a very sweet girl if I could give this store more stars I “
“Such a great food truck if you're in the area. We called our order in and it was ready for pickup when we arrived. We all chose street tacos, chicken & steak, with lots of cilantro & onions. SO good! I am still thinking about those corn tortillas too. Delicious! This food truck is located in the same area as the Rosebank Farmers Market on Bohicket Road. Very convenient for picking up fresh produce as you get your food too. There are also drinks for sale & tables & chairs if you want to eat outside there. I highly recommend La Fogata!“
“The only reason I give our food 4 stars is because it was cold when it came out. We ate in the bar area, not the restaurant and the bartenders were slammed, also taking food orders. We brought the food home and reheated and it was delicious!“
