“This is definitely the best place to eat dinner in Johnsonville! You can expect to be greeted by friendly folks when you walk in the door. The food is cooked fresh, perfect portions, good value for the quality of food, and it's an over-all friendly and clean place to eat. If you're wanting to socialize after your meal, you can feel comfortable sitting at your table or even playing a round of pool. You can also opt to eat at the bar or get your food to go and eat at the landing!”

“Im a VERY picky eater, and if it's not on point I'll never return. After moving to the area, Tijuana's has become my family's go-to every week. I love Tijuanas "Chicken Flautas," others call them chicken Taquitos. Get a side of sour cream and the refried beans&rice come with the meal as well as a side of lettuce, fresh chopped avocado, and tomato slices. Trust me it's really good! Consistent Good food is what makes a restaurant thrive and customers return, as a return customer I can tell you this place is the best I've had.Parking: You will have no issues with parking period.Kid-friendliness: My kids like it. They have a claw toy machine, and other gadgets.”

“Out in the middle of nowhere like an oasis in the desert, this delightful Diner was a welcome surprise. Fantastic breakfast with pancakes that would make St. Alfonso proud, crisp bacon, eggs and coffee. Excellent service, and the Chicken & Ribs lunch menu made me wish I could come back sooner. This Diner is going in our notebook for sure!! If you find yourself on SC route 41, don't pass this one by!!”

“I don't understand why people expect McD's to be like a 5-star restaurant. It is fast food run and maintained by kids. They are working for peanuts and no benefits. I have found this place to be just fine. I went in with the grandkids. Our order taker was extremely friendly and patient. She made the kids laugh. As for the food, it was what we ordered, hot and tasty. We got plenty of condiments, napkins, etc. We ordered inside and took the food home so I can't comment on the dining area cleanliness but the place look quite clean and smelled like those amazing McD's fries.”

“I just love the large $5 pepperoni deal but I wish that included all one topping pizza. They have improved on the crust but if they would add just a little more yeast then I believe the crust would be even better.”

“Food couldn't have tasted any better and it took me back to North Carolina where they do vinegar based bbq and finger licking fried chicken just like this place!! Mac n cheese, butter beans, pot roast, field peas....all done to perfection. Buffet style setting which isn't typically my thing most of the time, but in this case I didn't mind at all. Cannot remember the last time we ate as much as we did as cheaply as we did either. This place is truly legit;). Missed some hush puppies as they weren't offered.”

“Almost killed my best friends cousin because I left my fish in his car and he tossed it. So I went back for seconds. When I tell you I am native Jersey and was just there for a short visit this was totally unexpected. The staff is friendly. The food surpasses expectations. “The staff was very friendly, and food tasted great! The price for buffet was $10.50, but didn't include drink or dessert, but a excellent price for endless helpings! The inside of the restaurant is smaller then expected and could use some redecorating. My group decided on the buffet ( you can order from the menu also). Fewer choices on the main bar : fried chicken, corn, mashed potatoes, squash, goulash, hash brown casserole, rice and gravy, and another vegetable, if I remember correctly, but there were more options on salad bar, which was included in buffet price.I'm not sure if the menu stays the same on the buffet every day of the week. The menu in the front indicated different specials for Friday and Saturday night. The restaurant serves breakfast also. If your hungry and passing through Hemingway, I suggest you stop and enjoy some Southern Comfort food and friendly atmosphere!”

“Fresh hot food and with the impossible burger one of the only fast food place in the area to get a full vegan or vegetarian meal.Vegetarian options: No other fast food place around serves a plant based patty.”
