I'm craving a good ol fashion burger so the good reviews brought us in. The decor is cool and our food did not disappoint. Well, the She Crab soup I started with was a bit of an overkill with the sherry. Remember to stir as it tops the cup or bowl Don'tdo whati did and take a spoonful without stirring it. Cough cough.. as the manager passed by he immediately asked how we're doing, I had to give my opinion. He kindly offered another cup without the sherry AND it was taken off...read full review
We got a seat at the bar for a bit of food. We had the poutine and it was great. There is an excellent selection of beers (& Wednesday is their beer discount day). Service was fast and friendly. Excellent beer pours. We will be returning when we are in town again. Highly recommend!!

Awesome place. Historical, lots of great atmosphere. Service was fantastic. Dog friendly on the gorgeous patio. Food is delicious and fresh. Definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys niche history restaurants and great beer.Kid-friendliness: Decent kids menu and lots of options. Good portion sizes.
