Our waitress Jessica was sooooo friendly and kind! The owner was also so kid friendly and sweet! The place looks rough BUT the food and service were great. The dressings the white sauce , everything is homemade. Very clean also.Kid-friendliness: They were soooo sweet to my wild toddler. Talked to him- gave him Japanese candy - showed him a trick to use chop sticks.
Clean?, professional, nice staff, the food was excellent. I'm kind of new to the area (almost 1 year here) and have been so disappointed and/or grossed out by the other restaurant options for Japanese cuisine (especially Mr hibachi).After discovering KJS, I'll never eat at any of the other Japanese restaurants in Moncks Corner again. Hands down the best in town. We were so pleased with everything. The gyoza was awesome and so were the spring rolls. All of the sushi was delicious...read full review

I got hibachi shrimp, steak, & chicken. The other person in my party got the Tuna rolls and said they were fantastic. Food was delicious. A lot of food for your money. The booths were the largest I have ever seen. Lots of room. Quite and low lights. Service was great. I will definitely be going back & recommend it to everyone.
