“I rate this place a 9.7/10. I am sitting in the parking lot eating my original shack burger in complete and utter awe at how good it is. It definitely reminds me of Shake Shack - which is my favorite burger of all time - and this HAS to be my new spot in Charleston. The side of cheese for my fries and the Barq’s root beer amplified my experience all together. HIGHLY recommend this place if you want a GOOD burger & fries. Oh & not to mention the price is amazing.“
“When you drive up you're a bit apprehensive but once you walk in the door your whole world changes the food is awesome cooked to perfection the chef is at the top of his game and the service a smile every time I'm in Charleston I'll make it a point to be there“
“I cannot say enough about this place. The food, drink, and service was so good.I had the double smash burger and the hubs had gourmet burger. Flavorful, cooked perfectly, and my salad was pretty good too. I had drinks, a Honey Polama and a Lavender Marini. They were NOT watered down. This place does not disappoint.The Cherry Pie tart with ice cream was to die for!Also, our server was so good. She wasn’t intrusive and didn’t get super bubbly or fake and I love that. She wasn’t bothered when we decided dessert and wanted to see the menus again.“
“Worth the drive! Went for lunch been wanting to try this food truck. Easy parking. Located at Firefly Distillery. There is a covered patio you can dine in on. I got the double rocket burger, fries, and chocolate malt milkshake. Burger was so filling, wanted to take some home but couldn't stop eating! The bun was delicious, the meat was cooked crispy, and I could tell the toppings were high quality. The fries were some of the best I have ever had, super crispy and well seasoned. The milkshake was the cherry on top. Old school with lots of malt. I can't wait to take a friend there for a lunch“
“The service was excellent. The fried pork chop meal was excellent. The women's restroom was horrible. Toilets were not working properly and the flush handle spun around in a circle when trying to flush but would not flush. The other stall had toilet paper all over the floor and stopped up toilet. The restroom door was very heavy to open. The ladies room needs some repair aside from that it was a pleasant experience.“
“Great little shack on the side of an Ace hardware store. This place should be Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. I had the smokehouse Cuban and fries… Delicious. Service is great, prices are reasonable for the food you get, the atmosphere is fun/chill… it’s all outdoor seating. My only regret is that I found this place on my last day of a weeklong visit. I’d have comeback everyday and worked through the menu… although I’d have had to fight the urge to order the Cuban everyday.Kid-friendliness: My 4 year old and 7 year old would have no problem finding something to eat. The parking lot wasn’t too busy while I was there, but the seating is outdoor and right next to the parking lot.“
“Great atmosphere, awesome band (High Strung), food was good, and overall it was a great time with a packed house. We did have an order that was missed for one of our friends and was too late to have it reordered so I felt bad as he was an out of town guest but it was a packed house so understandable I guess. It was our first time and it’s definitely a place we will be back to visit.“
“We are in town for our anniversary and went to get burgers to take back to the hotel after a busy day out. Jonathan B took our order and was so polite and accommodating! As we waited, we watched as Jonathan B, Jamar, and Ty all worked really quickly and efficiently. They interacted so well with each other and customers! “This was my first visit to southern US, and I had always wanted to try a po' boy sandwich. Oh my!! The shrimp po' boy at Coleman Public House was the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. I think I would fly back to Charleston just to have another one. The bun is slightly toasted for just a tiny bit of crunch. The portion of shrimp is generous, and so crispy and golden. And the crowning part is the delicious spicy sauce that is simply amazing. Try it - you will not be disappointed!!“
