I thought Mr. Chimetime was being a hater on his instagram review about this place. Nevertheless we waited 30-35 minutes for food to go . My fish sandwich was cold and nasty, my daughter grilled chicken breast was dry and the corn bread was dry and nasty. I’m going to assume the good reviews are from the locals. As an outer towner and for the amount of money we spent I would have been better off going to Publix and cooking myself !Parking: Slim to no parking. Parking is tight so be careful

My family and I are out of town from Virginia vacationing with the kids on spring break and wanted some soul food so that’s what we googled and Big Mikes was the first to pop up. Looking from the outside the establishment was small(not in a bad way) and you can tell that the locals like this spot because to go orders was lined up waiting and it was a wait to dine in. We put our name on the list and ran other errands while waiting for the call back. It was Saturday and the weekend so we knew it’d be a wait everywhere(& it was) to eat. It was a lil over a hour and got the call our table was ready. Overall experience was good. The staff are friendly and the food was great! We had the fried fish fried pork chop with Mac n cheese collards rice n gravy and cabbage. Even the corn bread was good. The kids ate all their kids meal and our food total was under 50$ for a family of 5! Very affordable and the food was what we expected it to be.. DELICIOUS! Would recommend eating here just gotta have a lil bit of patience as they’re a small staff and small establishment so they do be busy and like other restaurants there is a wait to dine in and order to go. I recommend Big Mike’s soul food.

First time here we second time visiting Myrtle Beach ⛱️ for are spring break my fiance wanted some soul food and Big Mikes showed up. We decided to dine in atmosphere was good the waitress that we had was good and very respectful I did not remember her name..I ordered the fish macaroni and cheese , yams and collard greens which this is the BIG MIKE SPECIAL one meat and 3 sides portions were just enough and everything was delicious ? my fiance ordered the fried chicken rice and gravy, macaroni and cheese and collard greens babyyyy when I tell you juicy breast and wing the juice was running down his fingers and the chicken was seasoned very well..this place is amazing will come again ?
We heard this was the best soul food spot in Myrtle beach. We went to dine in but the wait to be seated was 30-35mins. We ended up ordering to go. Yes the wait is long,we waited about 40-50 mins for our order. However, the food was good! Its definitely soul food and it taste great. The good food made up for the long wait time.
Had a 15 minute wait for a table of 6. Food was delicious. My mom's sweet potatoes came out cold but everything else was amazing. Catfish and grits, chicken wings app, collard green, croissant beignets, mac n cheese, pork chops- all delicious.
Good food! Great turnaround. I love seeing people coming and leaving an establishment. That means the food is going out, and no leftovers. Met the chef, and she is a great person and cook! Enjoy!
