Stopped by at 11pm Friday, the bar was almost full & they close at 1am, so figured we weren’t being too rude coming in that late. Got seated at a tall table near the bar, waited a half hour for our waiter/waitress, and nobody ever came to even get our drink order. Wouldn’t be irked enough to write a review normally, but 2 different waitresses walked by us multiple times and straight up ignored us, AND a couple that came in AFTER us got service right away and got their food in 15 minutes tops. Would give 0 stars if I could.

The bartender, Trish was always on top of getting me a new beer when I needed one . Love the variety of different beers on draft. The manager, Tonya made sure that my dinning experience was as best as it could be! One of the best managers I have encountered at a restaurant, I will definitely be coming back to watch some sports games at the bar!

Went here last night and as I am sure you can tell, I like to mention the server by name when they do a great job. Katelyn took care of our group and she was extremely helpful and very attentive. We started out with the Buffalo Chicken Dip and Pretzel Sticks and they did not disappoint. I would recommend dipping the pretzel in to the Buffalo Chicken dip, it was a great combo. The Classic Philly Cheese Steak was very large and appeared tasty. I had the grilled chicken Zingers and they were very good and the spice was just right. Over all the food came out quickly and the beer was cold. No complaints at all. This would be a great place to watch a game, play some pool and eat some good food.Thank you again Katelyn.

My mouth was watering looking at the menu, I wanted to try everything. Started with the bacon cheese fries which were perfect and then my boyfriend and I split the Brisket French Dip sandwich and pub burger, both were amazing! Our server Justin was great very attentive and friendly and made sure we enjoyed our meal. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

We have dined at CAH many times and have always enjoyed our experience. Great food, service and value for our money.When dining there this week I ordered for the first time, their Smashburger. I suppose originally coming from a different part of the country, I have quite a specific expectation of what a Smashburger is. It is defined as: 1. : a hamburger patty that is pressed thin onto a heated pan or griddle at the start of cooking. Smashburgers start life as 3- to 4-ounce balls of ground meat, then get smashed flat onto a hot griddle. The resulting patty is thin and often imperfectly shaped, with edges all brown and crispy. The CAH Smashburger is nothing close to this. It is a burger with two fat patties, stacked so high you can't even eat it as presented. It required the burger to be 'smashed' down in order to even get you mouth on it. Perhaps this is why CAH has deemed this a 'smashburger'. To say the least I was very, very disappointed and barely even ate it. This was just a huge, double burger. The rest of our food was delightful and we will certainly eat here again. Just won't be ordering the Smashburger.Perhaps if CAH is interested in perfecting this culinary delight, the management and or cooks, could make a trip to the Rustic Table in Pawleys. These folks have perfected the ideal and defined Smashburger.

First time ordering from here & spent $18+ on a French dip via UberEats and did not receive the dip/french onion soup. Garlic mashed potatoes were rock hard and cold. Wouldn’t have ordered if I knew I would not be getting the dip in the French dip, super disappointed and will not order from here again because of this.

We went to Carolina Ale House to eat Sunday. It was my very first time and my first impression wasn’t that great due to a bug in my cocktail and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich was so greasy I took one bite and left the rest. I will mention our server was very kind. She got me a new drink and took the sandwich off my bill. Due to this I most likely will not be back.
