The restaurant was a stop on the way home, to NC. Being from NY, I drawn by the name of the place. Stepping inside I saw the typical pizza place. And then it hit us, the young Lady was obviously from NY because the attitude was awful. It was Sunday, about 3pm and already she was tense. We Ordered a spinach roll and a chicken roll. You either love or hate it but this is my favorite pizza. Grew up with DiCarlos and it's definitely a unique style of pizza. People who haven't tried it and don't understand Ohio Valley style might be taken back at first. The pizza is baked with sauce and then pepperoni and cheese and any other toppings are added cold after the pizza comes out of the oven and left to heat from the baked pizza slices. This place is awesome, we try to stop every year that we vacation here, but that tradition might finally stop this year, I have been holding out hope for a couple years that they might bring back their buffalo chicken calzone (which was easily the best calzone I've had) but I'm starting to lose hope they'll ever add it back to their menu. Please, Di Carlos! Bring back the Buffalo chicken!
