I was very impressed with the quality of the food, the ambiance was nice and the service and staff was very accommodating ! There were six of us and we ordered various dishes - the calamari was very good-the lasagna was fantastic and every dish was very tasty with quality ingredients, great taste and attention to every detail to make the overall dining experience very satisfying. We can't wait to go back
The inside is neat and spacious without having tables smushed on each other. The server was fantastic and the food and drinks excellent. We had the Italian margaritas for cocktails with mussels in red sauce as an appetizer. Main course we had chicken parmigiana and chicken Mediterranean. Both excellent. For dessert had the tartufo and tiramisu. Great experience for our anniversary dinner and can't wait to get back.

Always a good time at Gio's....food, ambiance, and staff....delicious, beautiful, and very friendly and easy to talk to. Sebastian was attentive to our party and checked on us often...seafood was top notch and fresh, as were all macaroni dishes and salads...def recommended to family and friends!

This restaurant is incredible. Our server Sara was welcoming , knowledgeable, personable and so much fun. The house wine was delicious. Calamari blew our Canadian minds. Soooooo tender. Soooooo flavourful. Then we sampled the Eggplant Parmesan and the Ravioli with the lobster filling. INCREDIBLE! Hot! Tender! Delicious. Get to this restaurant NOWWWWWTHANK YOU SARA! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We enjoyed our meals of eggplant Parmesan, chicken Parmesan and veal Sorrentino. The soup of day was a minestrone and was delicious. Had fantastic tiramisu and mini cannolis for dessert. Our server Sara was terrific!

Being from New York we were hesitant to try an italian restaurant in Myrtle Beach. We went to Gios on a recommendation from friends and we were so happy we did! The service and food were fantastic. We started with the mediterranean salad which was amazing. The cream of broccolini soup was delicious as well. My husband had the chicken parmagiana and I had the pasta bolognese. Everything was cooked perfectly! We will definitely be returning on our next trip to the area.
Let me first say that I Never give bad reviews, however this will be my first in hopes that the Manager on Duty Ana does not treat another customer the way she treated our group. We made reservations for a group of 12 for a birthday celebration. The waitress and the food was amazing, were were having a great night until the very end. As we were waiting for our check, an employee came up to our table very abruptly and very ignorant telling us that she had another group of 12 that needed the table. We told her that we were just waiting for our checks and as soon as we received them we signed and left. As we left, we were again approached with very hostile energy by two of the 12 people saying they were part of the 12 waiting for the table. Since this has now changed the vibe of our night celebrating a birthday, I decided to call the restaurant and asked for the manager on duty to let them know what we experienced. I found out that she was the one that approached our table abruptly. I told her that I didn’t appreciate how she handled the whole situation especially since our group spent well over $1,000, she said that we could have reserved a private party if we wanted to stay longer but they had that table reversed for another party. I tried to explain to her that we didn’t plan to stay as long as we did and we’re just waiting for our checks (which was asked for right after dessert since we were already running late for our evening) and she continued to talk over me. She didn’t express any remorse for how she handled the situation and just kept saying that they needed the table. I get that the party waiting for the table was probably giving her a hard time waiting since we also received the wrath from it; however as a manager on duty you should know how to handle situations & be able to pivot if things don’t run on time, either move other tables together (which their were a few open ones)and putting the other 12 at another section or talk to their employees about moving things faster. She should have never approached us the way she did and shouldn’t have let her frustration out on us. She is very unprofessional and needs to learn how to manage better.

The service was great! Their seafood pasta dish was outstanding. A lot of fish. Chicken parm was also delicious. We lived in upstate NY for many years with great Italian food. Gios Italian food is some of the best we've had ever!

We enjoyed the Salmon special. The food was excellent! What a combination of flavors that went together so well. Our server, Sarah was wonderful. She was very attentive to my food allergy questions. She put me at ease knowing she was truly concerned that my meal would not contain anything I am allergic to. Her service was great and very timely. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. We certainly will be returning for many more wonderful meals.
