Atmosphere was incredible! Took my girlfriend here for a romantic dinner and drinks. Being right on the beach was incredible. The service was exceptional and I was never waiting for anything. Can’t wait to come back!

The best place to eat OVER the ocean in Myrtle Beach, Pier 14 is iconic, a must visit destination off 14th Avenue North in the heart of the boardwalk and the only pier left unharmed by the last hurricane. Try the Carolina Clam Chowder, the best hush puppies in town and the pretzels. Great to eat outside but inside is good too then walk the pier and visit their great store.

Our servers for lunch were excellent. We enjoyed the Peel & Eat Shrimp and Calamari appetizers. The Pier 14 Crustacean was underwhelming. The tuna on the Pier 14 Seafood Roll was cubed, not seared and needed more sauce for flavor. The Scallop dish was very tasty. The Key Lime Pie, NY Cheesecake and Triple Chocolate Cake desserts were all delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and we enjoyed looking out the window at the beach and pier. After spending $250 on lunch, $50 on photographs of our group at the table and $25 at the gift store, we declined to pay $1 per person to walk on the pier. My suggestion would be that the fee is waived for anyone dining in the restaurant.

Great food, ambience and service. Lovely photos to capture the moment were an add-on!
We went here on a Friday afternoon and found the menu had changed and the favorites were no longer on there. We ordered sweet tea and it was really bad. We ordered 2 of the boom boom shrimp and when it came out there wasn't any BOOM to it. We ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich which I was told the kitchen can't toss the sandwich but I can get a side of buffalo and do it at the table...again We didn't say anything. Once the food got there one of the burgers clearly had a bite taken off the patty. We sent the burger back and the manager came over and he wasn't friendly. We decided to tell him the things we had experienced so far and he was not concerned at all. It was almost like he blamed us for everything. He offered to get us another burger after we told him we'd never be back. Even told him we'd been going there since it opened 20+ years ago. It's always been a place we go when we were in town. Not anymore. the service wasn't good. We had to keep asking for refills on drinks and she forgot to bring one refill. after 10 minutes we reminded her and she replied "Oh i was handling the burger" (the manager was the one that handled that). The view is great but not the service or the food.

Lackluster for certain. Take away the rainy cold weather, and you still have a mediocre place to eat. The service was great and not really the issue. The issue was that all our food was okay, certainly not great or mouth-watering delicious. We might try it again, but I doubt it. Oh, they also push their charge for using anything other than cash on the customer, which is outrageous.

Very favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach! We actually stay between the 1300-1500 block of north ocean Blvd so we are centralized around thinner:

We ended up waiting for a server during the rush, but they made it worth the time. Sitting on the pier watching the lights of the Ferris wheel and enjoying an ocean breeze. She had the bartender make a 'Surfer on Acid' cocktail, we had the white fish / Shark Bites appetizer and split the Po Boy. So, we got a taste of shrimp and fish... Great people. The cool air and hot food was a wonderful and I look forward to seeing them again in the Spring!
