Great staff. Great food. Great drinks.
Really good lunch servings and pricing along with half carafes of pleasant house wines. Can’t beat the view. Really liked it.
Immediately seated at bar. Bypassed 1 hour table wait. Bar tenders outstanding. Dirty call vodka martinis up well done. In fact I reported my second had been taken away before I finished and was comped a half martini replacement. Girlfriend’s crab sandwich delicious. But my fish sandwich was disappointing. Unusually crowded on a Monday nite, but hey its MB. Fourth time here. Will return.
Great place to look out over the ocean. Friendly service
First off, be prepared for a little wait. We were told 35 minutes at dinner, and waited almost 30 minutes. They have a gift shop, which kept our littles entertained until we were seated. The view from the pier was gorgeous! Our server, Gavin, was spot on with his job. He was quick, efficient, and super friendly. We really enjoyed that he stopped to talk for a few minutes. He never missed a beat, and honestly I can’t brag on him enough. The food was delicious. My husband and 16 year old daughter ordered the crab legs, which they both enjoyed. I ordered the tacos with shark bites, and they were delicious. They do offer a kid’s menu, so we ordered cheeseburgers for our twins. The mashed potatoes are loaded with garlic, so if that’s not your thing, you may not want to order them. The fries were amazing, and we could have ate them all night. The manager even made rounds to check on everyone, which is something I don’t see happen often. She was really sweet, and didn’t mind helping clear tables. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience, and would gladly visit again.
Went here for dinner with the family, last week of august, I ordered the calamari as an app and was over cooked and salty, ordered grilled grouper which I’d bet money on was not grouper, tasted more like a tilapia filet, wife ordered a seafood plate where everything was salty, i did not complain but paid and left, saw 3 tables complain tho.I would not eat here next time I’m there, they have an amazing location and the pier has amazing views just the food needs a revamp.
Great food, good service and fun atmosphere. There was a talented singer on the pier who entertained us as we ate. Despite signs asking folks not to feed the birds, some couldn’t resist, but as long as you don’t feed them, they seem to leave you alone. TIP: parking at the street meter is much more affordable than parking in the nearby lot. (1.75/hour versus $6/hour).
we were a group of 12, enjoyed the walk and amazing pier/beach views. Extremely expensive bar, serving super dry drinks.
This was our first Time to pure 14. We had the shark bites and flounder. Food was excellent, setting was beautiful, and our server Natasha was on it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Myrtle Beach.
I liked the pier. It cost a dollar so it’s not a big expense. Getting through the store was crowded but the rest was easy. There was a nice breeze and people fishing. Even got to see a shark.
We went here on our last day for lunch! I ordered a mango smoothie which was not appetizing. I asked the waiter to switch drinks and she said “sure! that smoothie was not made properly anyways” Me and my friend were wondering why she would even serve it to us? Then we got the Salmon BLT and Grouper reuben. The BLT was good, but the salmon only took up only about half the sandwich and was a very thin slice. On the other hand my friends sandwich was huge and the grouper on it took up the whole sandwich! After receiving our bill the smoothie was still on the bill and the manager came over and questioned why I did not like the smoothie. This place was good, but we would probably not come again.
Ok, so I have to preface this with the fact that we have been traveling and eating great out of the way places. This place is fine, but nothing special. It's very touristy. They were out of the beers we wanted so we had sodas, I'm sure that's a supplier issue these days. Our appetizer was Boom boom shrimp, but only a few of them were crispy, and over cooked. We got 3 crab claws and they were also over cooked, like they had been sitting and were rewarded. The garlic mashed potatoes as a side were good, lots of garlic! The view was great as well, but all in all I think there are better places. See my Pawleys island reviews, it's not that far away.
Great place with a very long wait. Lucky for me, my hotel was a short walk down the boardwalk. So I put my name on the list and went back to the beach for two hours until they text's me. Great views. Food was solid. DEI ka were strong. All good stuff.
Pier 14 is a wonderful ocean-view restaurant. Our time on the waitlist was half as long as predicted for a party of 6. Their menu mostly focuses on seafood, but has a few other options for other tastes. Everything our group tried was delicious, from drinks to desserts, and it was a pleasure to dine while enjoying the sights and sounds of the pier!
The bartenders were very friendly, without being obnoxious. The place was clean and most of the food was really good too. There shrimp wasn't anything impressive. The breading they use for their fried seafood is a little bland. It doesn't take away from the meal, but it definitely doesn't add to it. But the crab cake sandwich was really good. Nothing super fancy, but a solid traditional flavor with tons of real crab. Not a bad beach spot and reasonably priced.
