We decided to go here obviously for the view from the terrace. From the moment we walked in the service was not friendly at all, we had to ask to be allowed to sit on the terrace because they never asked where we wanted to sit. They told us that they had to check if that was possible. Once we were on the terrace where there were many free tables where the sun was shining (it was a very cold day) and the waitress decided to seat us at the table farthest away from the sun. Lousy customer service. We ordered fish tacos which were ugly and dirty Myrtle beer which was overpriced. I recommend it for the view, the music and the ambiance, pity about the service and the food.

Very sad. Got the clam chowder and the server agreed it tasted and smelled rancid. I went in expecting freshly prepared food.. nope.. Fish was FROZEN without a doubt and tasted like a sponge. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF YOURE LOOKING FOR GOOD FOOD. Not to mentioned OVERPRICED AND ONLY HAVE VALET PARKING.

We NEVER got to try a drink, let alone food. We were seated outside on the roof, trying to celebrate my daughter's sweet 16 yesterday tonight, April 8th, and never even had anyone acknowledge we were there besides the host that sat us. We sat there for 15mins and never had anyone even say hello, give me a few minutes, nothing and it was dead out there!!! 8:15 at night and couldn't even be acknowledged. The host even saw us walk out and never said a word. I don't know how some place this expensive can not even say hello or offer drinks nothing. Other people on the roof were being attended to and us.... crickets.

We had a great meal and PHENOMENAL service at RipTydz Oceanfront Grille & Rooftop Bar in Myrtle Beach. Kevin took great care of us. Our meal and drinks came out very quickly - but the winning moment was when he tracked us down after we left (just outside of the restaurant) to return our phone that was left behind. We can’t THANK YOU you enough!

Sticky finger wrap was so good! Service was great with no wait. Kids menu has good options. Love it’s right on the beach. A little strange you have to give your credit card when ordering at a regular but I’m sure they have their reasons for that.
