This was our first dinner in Myrtle Beach and we were so excited to have local raw oysters. Imagine our disappointment when we’re learned they were imported from Louisiana! My husband ordered a Manhattan which was shaken rather than stirred. We have been going to Brother Shuckers for the past two years and we have noticed a change in the quality of their food. We went 2 weeks ago to celebrate my birthday. Upon arriving we were seated promptly but waited 10 minutes for a server, there were only 4 tables seated at that time. Decided to try this restaurant after seeing pictures on Facebook of luscious, lumpy crab cakes. Don’t believe those pictures. The crab cakes had no lump crab meat at all. They were small and very mushy. Worst crab cake ever. On a positive note, the Mac & Cheese was very good and the Fried Oyster Feast was also very good. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive.
