I was in Augusta for business and stop by The Highlander and so glad I did. The people where very welcoming and accommodating. Had the Sheppards Pie and it was perfect. Thank you for let me spend the afternoon with yall.
Been going to the Highlander very occasionally since 1990. Used to stop in otw home from camp lejuene to Atlanta in the early 90’s and have stopped in at least once every couple of years since. Out of all the bars I’ve spent time in, and there’s been more than I care to admit, this is THE most consistent one. Drink, throw darts, people watch, and definitely get a shepherds pie. Authentic British pub with great staff and an open mic night with great local musicians and a selection of house instruments available to play. Great local hangout that was definitely lucky to stumble upon!
