The food was delicious and came out with perfect timing. We tried the fried ravioli, goat cheese & beet salad, and the catfish sandwich. The amaretto almond cake was also delicious. We really appreciated the casual atmosphere. Our server, Ned, made the experience even better with his great suggestions and even a few travel tips. We're from out-of-town, otherwise we'd be regulars! Can't say enough good things about this restaurant and staff.

Came for dinner; it had been a while. We ordered the steak for 2. The apps were good. A friend said her wine tasted expired - I agree, but she doesn't say anything and we agree it's a Wednesday after last day opening was Saturday, so good chance it was just old. And they didn't realize. We got our steak. It smelled foul. And tasted like chemicals. They took it back. Brought it back out. It was the same side items that they stacked our dirty side plates on, as they removed it all together and you could tell as the veggies were cold and very obvious our potatoes were the same ones as you could see a bite taken out - fine should have left that part so at least we could enjoy it while hot. Brought it out again and still tasted like the meat had gone bad. I really feel like they served us leftover meat from the weekend. We've been coming here for years and never had such bad food. And the fact they didn't take it off our check, only took off 10 bucks off an 80 dollar plate...even after agreeing it was bad...service was otherwise great. But ick. Wewon'tt be back anytime soon. Really unfortunate and sad for this place.

First time visiting. We were seated within 10 mins of arriving. The food and staff were amazing. I will definitely be returning and making a reservation in case seating isn't readily available.

I ate at this restaurant yesterday,I had the cod fish and chips and a side salad. Oh I will go again. The presentation was great, and the food was just as good.I also had a slice of pineapple cake ,and coffee the coffee could have be a little warmer but all was great. They next I would like to invite some of and sat outside. I dine in very cozy setting.I was also told they had take out. Also the soup sounds as it would be exciting and delicious an asparagus and potato soup.??Parking: Resident area on the street parking

Don't go here if you have any food allergies, they act like they care but will still poison you.Update: I did email the manager as requested in her response but never received any reply. This is why I won't be giving them another chance.Dietary restrictions: Not friendly.

We stopped here for dinner for the first time despite living in North Augusta for so long and visiting just about every restaurant here. We should have come here a long time ago – the food was excellent, the setting was relaxed, and the service was very pleasant. Our server, Cody, was super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We asked to move tables, and they were able to accommodate this easily. We loved all of the food that we tried. The French Onion Soup and Chorizo Soup were savory and warm. They did not have any bottles of Prosecco left, but we were able to try a bottle of Rose. Please be aware that they do not serve cocktails or mixed drinks here, just beer or wine as far as I am aware. The two cakes we grabbed to-go were also fantastic – seriously do NOT skip dessert!!When I glanced at the bill, I noticed that they forgot to charge me for the bottle of wine, but I notified the server, and he was able to quickly fix this and adjust the charges on my card with no hassle!Overall, our visit was very pleasant and every staff member that spoke with us was very nice. We will come back to experience more of those delicious dishes (and cakes).Parking: Free parallel parking spaces, the streets are narrow so make way for larger vehicles passing through opposite directions.

Manuel's never disappoints. We've been six times or so over the 10 years we've lived here and each time the service is wonderful, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is fun and inviting. My favorite dish to get is the crispy flounder and no matter how much time elapses between visits it is prepared the same way and tastes fresh and delicious. I love the cocktail selection because it tastes like they make their own fruit purées and that's a bonus. If you don't save room for dessert you MUST take a piece of cake home. We haven't tried one that we didn't love. There is a large patio if you like to dine outside and the street isn't so busy that you feel like you're eating around a bunch of traffic and noise. Inside is small, but the space is used well. Get reservations for sure!

We love the food here and I’ve chosen this spot for my birthday dinner on several occasions. There is a fixed menu that rarely changes plus several daily specials every day. My favorite lunch is the duck confit salad but my friends love the Kobe burger. The fries here are the best and are fried in peanut oil. For dinner, I love the chicken piccata but sometimes get the beef bourguignon - both are excellent. My husband likes the steak or the fish specials. Their onion soup is outstanding. They have an extensive dessert menu with a variety of cakes, cheesecakes, and creme brûlée. The wait staff is usually attentive and knowledgeable about wine pairings. The inside of the cafe is small and the tables are close together and it can be loud. We prefer to eat outdoors year round. There is a large outdoor dining area that is covered with ceiling fans and large heaters, so we’ve comfortably eaten in all seasons and weather conditions.Parking: The cafe is located in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The only parking is free street parking in marked spots. Regardless of the time of day, we’ve never had any problems finding an open spot within one block of the cafe. Better practice your parallel parking skills first though lol!
