We went on Sunday. Loved it so much that we went again on Tuesday. The steak is delicious. Also tried fried ravioli, pountine, lamb, ribs, chicken, Oreo cheesecake, red velvet cheese cake. All taste wonderful! The staff is super kind. We sat on the patio the first day, & I loved when it started raining a little. French music was playing. I felt like I was in Pariiii ! If you go, definitely do a reservation at least a day prior through their website or you’ll probably be waiting a while.
Our food was truly amazing. I had the duck confit salad, he had lamb. We had good size portions and finished both of our plates. For dessert we shared the cake sampler, all of which were very moist and delicious. The menu is smaller and a little pricey but very worth it. The staff is extremely friendly, very helpful, and make sure you have a good experience while you are there. I would recommend making a reservation as there is very limited seating. Both the outside and indoor seating areas are very nice and ambient however.

The onion soup was good! We share plate of chicken piccata with $3.00 more that wasn’t too bad a lot of limen and not salt… nothing special about this place
Not impressed.... A friend and I made a 12:15p reservation for Sunday brunch. When we arrived, the table wasn't ready. They were admittedly busy and we had to wait a bit for a table to become available; not a big deal. We both ordered the Creme Brulee French Toast - one with a side of sausage and one with a side of bacon (the french toast automatically includes a side of home fries or fruit salad). The order arrived pretty quickly. First disappointment: one set of silverware had a dirty fork. Second disappointment: sausage was borderline burnt. Third disappointment: one order of french toast (order comes with two slices) was drastically larger than the other (pic after my friend had already stated eating). Overall, their quality control is severely lacking. I'm not sure how large the slices of french toast are meant to be. When I inquired of our server (who was nice), he looked and also acknowledged that one order was significantly larger than the other; said the kitchen would probably say that the larger piece was too big for one order. I don't mind if the smaller portion is the "correct" one, but they need to get quality control in order so that if patrons order the exact same thing it's made in a consistent manner. The french toast itself was fine, nothing to write home about. Home fries were good and my friend enjoyed her mimosa. I think the best thing about the restaurant is the setting - it's tucked in a cute neighborhood.
Sunday morning , my family and I decided to go to for brunch. It's a nice environment the host was kind enough to squeeze us in before another reservation came. Our server was very pleasant and nice. The food I ate was very good I had the eggs julienne, which is just and eggs benedict with salmon and French toast. The eggs julienne had a great taste and was very balanced in flavor, it meshed well with the home fries. The French toast was kind of disappointing cause I was so small and they charge $9.95 for two pieces of toast. I think it should be a lot cheaper than that. My husband had the goat cheese scramble, he said it was not seasoned well, it just taste like plain eggs and goat cheese. My father in law had no complaints with his food. I would go back for lunch and dinner when I have the chance.
beef bourguignon and Poutin were great!
We have been coming to Manuel’s for years. We noticed on our last 2 visits that the service was lacking a little. However, our visit tonight was absolutely terrible. It took us over 2 hours to receive food. We had to go inside and track the waitress down 3 times. Once to order drinks after sitting forever, once to order food, and once to tell her we needed the bill. Our party of 6 won’t be back to Manuel’s. We never would have expected the restaurant to go this downhill.
Amazing food and service. Reasonable prices. Fresh and fast! Definitely will be back. Key lime cake is outstanding! Quaint and fun!
Excellent servers and the food was exquisite. Loved it here
Beautiful lunch, just off the river. Perfectly placed in square of a quant community, this corner restaurant is a must stop in Augusta, SC. The flavor of everything was divine. The trout is perfectly delicate and moist. Bon Appetit ?♥️
Great service the lamb and flounder were also great. A lot of flavor. The white sangria ? was excellent
I have really loved it before. Today was a little disappointing. We just went for dessert and coffee. It was $8 for a tiny piece of cheesecake. We got a piece of banana pudding cheesecake and Oreo cheesecake. Thankfully they tasted good but definitely was way OVERPRICED...
Love this place. The only problem is my favorite thing in the menu is the shrimp and grits, only served at brunch, and my wife's craving is the poutine, only made at night. So it's a regular fight for which time of day we should go. We have taken 12 people before and not one person said their meal was even average. Never had a bad experience at Manuel's. Definitely make this a stop when you're in N Augusta!
Great place! Great service! burgers are amazing! Try the salmon cake burger! It will blow your mind off!
