It's great to see another food option in Hammond's Ferry. Larder is a simpler place to get breakfast or lunch or coffee. They have good food at reasonable prices and they show a lot of promise (e.g. renting bikes for and selling picnic lunches... sounds like a great date idea!).

Small little spot located in Hammond's ferry. We came here for brunch and the food was absolutely delicious. I don't normally get the eggs Benedict anywhere but tried it here and their spin on it was pretty impressive. My wife got the shrimp and grits and it was pretty good as well. This place is small so be prepared for that. But it's definitely worth checking out.

My husband and I love going here, especially for a quick date night(even with the kids because there is a playground right there). Great food and great atmosphere!

Stumbled upon this place while walking through Hammond's ferry one day but had to come back when we had time to eat and I am so glad we did. Such a nice little place nestled in a small community with unique menu items and a great atmosphere. There is option to eat in or outside, and if you have kids there is a playground which is perfect to entertain the little ones while you enjoy your drinks and wait for your food. The pulled pork Benedict was fantastic and so large it was extremely filling that I had to nap afterwards. The French toast my wife had was delicious and full of favor compared to French toast at other breakfast places. Everything tasted fresh and proportional to the price you pay so it was worth every penny. The menu was large enough for options for a variety of food types depending on what you are craving, but small enough that you aren't overwhelmed with option overload. Everything looked delicious and it was hard to make a decision so I will have e to come back to try out other options. Their specials are unique and limited so there's something fresh and new each visit. The service was great and felt family friendly for a variety of dining out occasions.

Cute little place, great for sitting and enjoying lunch or dinner outdoors. I really love the fact this place is kid and pet friendly. There's a small playground for the kids and they bring water out for the dogs. We stopped for lunch and ordered kids chicken fingers first my son, papas bravas, the spicy feta dip and fried avocados. I wasn't too excited about the food, it had no taste, no salt, no pepper, but we did order a drink it was delicious!! I hate the food wasn't great, because the customer service (was great) and the outdoor setting make it a great place to hang out at with the family.

This place is amazing! It's small but perfect. We love to sit outside and play trivia! They have the best homemade pork skins with the best dipping sauce and you can't leave there without trying the Reuben sandwich! It's delicious

Great food, great service! Best pork skins and Reuben sandwich in town! If the weather is nice I definitely recommend sitting outside!

Fun, small, intimate. Not a ton of seating, but we sat outside, which was preferred, and it was nice. There is a playground right outside, which would be nice if we bring kids. The area feels like a small Charleston. The food, oh man, it was delicious! The grits were a great savory choice, it needs a little more flavor, just salt and pepper. The chicken biscuits was spot on, the chicken had a few tough parts. The seasoned home fries were great! The flavor had a little kick and had red pepper and onions. The breakfast burger was good, the bun was large and dense and it needed more bacon jam and cheese; overall good but needs tweaking.
