Peno Mediterranean Grill

Really tasty food. I came with a coworker for lunch yesterday. The food was fresh and the staff was helpful answering our questions. I had classic sandwich with the ginger hummus on the side. Definitely recommend this spot!

I try to hit up this place for lunch every time I'm working up in North Chuck! Peno is my favorite "fast casual," order at a counter, chain in the game. All entrees are cooked to order and the side dishes are super fresh. They have a variety of different spins on salad as well as a good selection of different hummus. The atmosphere was cool, very nice vibe. The food was good and the service was friendly. Only issue was that their system doesn't show customer info on the tickets for online orders. That meant they couldn't call to tell me they were out of a menu item (lamb), so we got a substitute we wouldn't have chosen. The staff handled it well and was very apologetic, but they need to address that issue with their ordering system. I will absolutely go again, but will call to verify my order.
