I've been eating at The Codfather since the original opened on Reynolds Ave. It's ruined me for fish and chips anywhere else. I always bring my friends here when they visit from out of town, and they love it just as much as I do. The newer location isn't the same, so I'll go out of my way to go to the Spruill Ave. location. Try it. You won't be disappointed.
Ordered the whole size fish and chips! Both the fish and fries were excellent. The size was huge. A plus was having vinegar avaialble on the table, I don't care for tartar sauce. My daughter said she thinks it tasted better than the one we had in London.It was a Tuesday night, there was no crowd.

I enjoyed the fish and chips, but I’ll definitely stick to the half option next time. The restaurant was semi full and my order came about 15+ minutes after I gave it. The environment was not what I would bring my family to sit and eat in, maybe the outside seating. Inside is more of a fellas vibe.
