“My husband, daughter and myself went to this restaurant for a birthday occasion. The food was good but the best thing about the menu is the sushi!. I tried my daughter's sushi and I really wish I had ordered it! However, our experience when it pertained to the service, it was bad! The waiter was slow and non-attentive! I would not go back to dine in but I would order the sushi to go, why? Because the food was worth the prices but the service was not! “Segrue’s hosted my job’s employee Christmas party! It was my second time coming to Segrue’s. The staff made the party such a wonderful experience from start to finish. It was a packed house, and the service was always incredibly fast. The bartenders are some of the nicest people ever and had so much care and hospitality in their hearts. They regularly came and checked on us, no matter how busy it was. And the food was amazing! I can’t wait to come back and eat those Philly egg rolls again.There’s pool, darts, a lovely outside area, and truly something for everyone here. Will return.Update 3/16/24 - St. Patties weekend and the beach is crazy. Party of four received a table right away with a nice cool drink. Appetizer was quickly delivered, before the delicious rolls. “My 'rents (now mid-70's) have been doing the Carolina S*** for near 30 years. While I had experienced places like Fat Harold's with them, my husband and teen son had not (though have heard about it for years). Finally had the chance to take my hubs and kid to see my father dance (mom passed a couple years ago). Not sure what they were expecting, but they were pretty shocked at the abundant crowd and great energy Fat Harold's puts out! If you're the jealous type, either leave it at the door or don't come. You and/or your date are likely to be asked to dance. Not because you're oh so sexy, but because . . . WHY NOT? If you're between 25 and 110 years old, go in with a smile and fun attitude, you'll enjoy yourself here! At the front of FH's is a diner-type place with 4 or 5 booths where you can get a pretty good burger, fries, coke, and look around at all the near-museum history pieces. Follow that up by going into the next area and ordering an adult beverage or two. Have a seat (you might have to wait a few min and be speedy, but you'll get one) and just watch. Seeing all these folks 50+ having a good time and smiling is just good for the soul. Strike up a conversation with the person next to you. "How long you been shaggin'? Where did you learn?" It sounds silly to you, but you're likely to get an earful and be asked if you'd like to learn. (Your answer should be "SURE!") But if not, go on into the back room where the dance floor and bar are less crowded, and the dancers are less experienced. Repeat steps for prior room. Breakfast prices are below 10$ The inside is like a roomy Dennys. The inside is showing it wear-(could use new carpets and paint but with the prices so low - The wait staff are friendly and they appear to work well with each other. So now on to the pancakes- I was worried that they may be overly sweet but surprisingly they are a perfect balance and oh so delicious!!! My hubby's Eggs Benedict was perfect - the eggs were mesmerizingly enticing. I don't eat Benedict's but their looked delicious.
