Fatz Cafe - Orangeburg

We sat at the bar, and the server was nice. Our appetizer, the loaded fries, came out quick, but they seemed a bit burned. We were hungry, so we ate them anyway. It took a long time to get our food and it was 'meh.' The potatoes were not seasoned, and the Mac and Cheese was a joke. My salmon and green beans were good though. My boyfriend's porkchop was dry. Place was pretty meh, got their chicken n dumplings. Tasted like a microwaved Marie calendar chicken pot pie. Cheese fries tasted like concession stand nacho cheese lol. It's alright in a quick pinch, but I don't think its worth the price.

It has been years since eating at Fatz and remembered it was good. When we walked in, there was a fan blowing on the greeter because the A/C is barely working. It was extremely hot in the dining room. I was ready to leave but everyone else said let’s just tough it out. The carpet is old and a lot of the interior looks really worn out. Time for a remodel.
