“Fun little coffee shop in Port Royal. We were in town just for a bit, but made a point to visit multiple times. Wife apparently liked it, I think we stopped by there three times in one day.Staff was kind and helpful. Keep up the good work!”

“Adorable cozy place with attentive staff and great food. I'm gluten-free, and the chef was very accommodating. I had the French (onion) chicken. They even had a gf bread basket! Very rare.Attentive and informed wait staff. Parking out front. Pricing is the only downside, and it is on the high side,Highly recommend.”

“Tried the macarons at the Beaufort Oyster fest and knew I had to buy some more. The lady at the store was amazing. She greeted us when we came in. “It took me 2 years of living in Beaufort to find my favorite restaurant, but I finally found it. I'd say the wait was worth it, but I really wish I'd stumbled across it earlier . I've gotten both the shrimp and oyster po boy and they are both some of the best po boys you'll have. My wife gets the fish and my kids have gotten the nachos and burger. Everything is great. The sides are awesome as well. I know it's a smokehouse, but we haven't even tried their BBQ side of the menu yet. Maybe one day, but at long as they make the Po Boy. I may never know.”

“We had a family occasion to visit Madison's a few weeks ago with a party of six. We had reservations and the meal had been planned for a while. When the food arrived, we (most of us) were astonished at the small size of a combination platter. I personally had scallops and flounder. I had two TINY strips of flounder, not even the size of a frozen fish stick. What a disappointment. The scallops were also 'marble' size. The price of the meal, with an adult beverage, was over 70.00. The cost nowhere represented what the meal should have been. One of our couples asked if the combination platter was enough to split. The server's answer was "they could eat one of them by themselves." This should have been our warning. Very disappointed in the meal. I have had appetizers larger the two tiny slices of flounder. We return to Beaufort on occasions, as family lives there, but we will NOT return to Madison's.”

“Believe it or not. I was there first customer when they were located in the plaza on Bay street in 1995. And I still love their pizza . Still the best pizza in Beaufort hands down .Vegetarian options: They make it to your liking .i haven't eaten meat since 2017. I normally get the 18 inch with cheese but there are other toppings you can add they have”

“Could not eat chips because they were cooked in rancid oil. Asked for some that were edible and waiter said they all tasted that way because they were all from the same batch. Not a good answer.”

“Great atmosphere, friendly staff. I really enjoyed our visit.Food, left a little to be desired. Admittedly, we were in hopes of "South Carolina BBQ", which they warned us they didn't really have. The ribs were over-cooked, and the traditional rub they used on the wings was based on brown-sugar maybe? Almost candy-ish in taste.I agree with most, I'd come back, at least once more to see if I caught the kitchen on a bad day.”

“The heart biscuits were such a great idea for Valentine's Day ? my grandmother turned 91 and she was the happiest person ever getting a heart biscuit ❤️ we usually do a special pancakes and fruit for breakfast on Valentine's Day but I woke up earlier and rushed out to surprise everyone with something different. Everything was so great they just kept wanting more!!”

“Me and my wife went inside. I will say this....the new way of using the kiosk and waiting at the counter with no human interaction is not cool in my opinion. The food was good as usual but the manager who gave us our food was the Rockstar. They were short staffed but he made sure we got our order and the interaction we did have with him was funny and made it worth the wait”

“Food was very good. We would probably rate a 4.5 if we could. I had duck, my partner had Mahi. Flavors were interesting and cooked to perfection. We rarely give a 5 so this is a great rating. Portion size was perfect. Glad we tried the place during our stay here. Acoustics make the restaurant a bit loud. Nicely we were seated at a table that was a bit quieter. Decorating, colors are very esthetically pleasing and calming. It is worth you visiting.”

“Love the water front dining experience here. You'd think with Hilton Head being an island that there might be more chances to have that but there are not. We enjoy the dinners here but the long wait can sometimes damper the experience especially with small children, so come early. The food is always good but nothing had ever jumped off the plate as spectacular or amazing. Again the service is always good but with the large crowds and volume of business sometimes the attention to detail for personalized service goes unnoticed. However there's never been anything that would prevent us from coming back and we look forward to our next visit to give it another try.”

“FANTASTIC find! When I tell you I had the best lunch here in recent memory! Scenic location, you can eat outside and view the boats out in the marina. We ordered brussel sprout melt, falafel wrap, fresh juices and an iced matcha latte. We thought it couldn't get better, until that chocolate cupcake! Do yourself a favor and eat here!”

“This is a nice place on the non-water side of Bay Street. While the menu looked amazing, it didn’t taste quite as amazing as we had anticipated and as other reviews stated. The shrimp tacos were overpowered with Cole slaw, for example. We also could barely taste the bacon in the queso. However the service was friendly. On the plus side, a single taco comes with two tortillas and had enough toppings for two tacos”

“The Ribaut Social Club certainly made my husband's 65th birthday celebration extra special. We were fortunate enough to have perfect weather so we could sit on their porch with a view of the water. We started with shrimp cocktail with the biggest shrimp I have ever seen. Local shrimp is always the best! Next up was cream of mushroom soup with perfect flavor and the correct temperature - nice and hot! For entrees we had the salmon and crab cake. Salmon was cooked to perfection and the crab cake was filled with lump crab. Our server, Misty, is the wife of the chef and she took excellent care of us. She even sent us up to the roof of the building to share a glass of sparkling wine to watch the sunset. A delicious birthday brownie in the lobby of this beautiful Inn rounded out the evening perfectly. The hospitality of all the staff was overwhelming. We will cherish the memories made in Beaufort at the Ribaut Social Club for a very long time.”
