“This guy does such a good job. I hope hes endlessly successful because the tacos are delicious, and he really brightens my day. I hope he knows that.(Diffrent visit) I came to leave another review but could only add on to my previous one. I grew up in LA around all the really good taco trucks. This place is AMAZING! the pastor tacos come with a little sliver of pineapple, each taco has its own perfect sized lime. The salsas are made with precision. The gentleman that owns it says "Hey welcome back!" Everytime i pull up and brings my food out to my car. I may go an entire day and picking up these tacos was the only time someone treated me like another person and looked me in my face and made me a good plate of food. This taco truck gives me hope for the future of this country. I dont know how, it just does. Im so so so greatful for this truck. My only regret is that I wish I could eat more tacos. Thank you!“
“After reading recommendations about this place, my spouse and I finally had some time to visit it, and it didn’t disappoint. It is a mexican panaderia, which serves classic conchas, among other baked goodies. But our main reason for us to be there were the authentic tacos. They are legit good! Soft tortilla, juicy meat portions, and at a decent price.I had also tried the egg and chorizo torta but it wasn’t my favorite. However, I highly recommend this place if you are looking for legit mexican tacos.“
“Amazing food! Their burritos, tacos and ramen are all super filling and the best flavors you will taste. Great portion sizes and super friendly staff! They are located at Scuffletown Food Truck Park. The park is a great family friendly atmosphere with lots for the whole family, drinks, kids play areas, picnic tables, and fun events!“
“Food it's great. Many items in the menu to try. It's close to where we live. So far we haven't had a bad meal yet. They have a salsa bar but never tell customers about it. It's near the front door behind the hostess stand.“
“Fun place but first glance at our table area had food crumbs all around and buried in the semi circle booth. My chicken taco and enchilada were dry and flavorless. I did like the beans and rice. Others with me enjoyed their fajitas and burrito. The waitress was nice. She brought me a refill of soda with no ice and asked to pour it into the soda I had.The music, tvs and atmosphere was fun. The booth needs cleaning as it was stuffed with food in the cracks. Might go back but I won't sit in that spot again.“
“Three days ago I went…. I didn't know this place and I have been living in the same area for many years, I went to buy some groceries at Food Lion and only entered out of curiosity, when a warm smile came in from the person who attended me I was excited to eat something. The waitress named Rosio guided me through her extensive and great menu and I am encouraged to eat the delicious bang bang tacos. I recommend them and I hope to come back soon“
“This place is in Simpsonville, approximately 25min away from Greenville Downtown. By 9pm most of the Mexican restaurants were closed. So we had only option left to go to this one as this one closes at 10pm. But we are so glad we went here! Very authentic Mexican food!!!First of all you can easily park your car in the free parking lot. It was easy to find a table. Very colorful ambience with designers chairs and table.Margarita flight was great! It came with 4 different tastes! Best was Jalapeño Margarita! They have live Guacamole option!! Which is for $12 but worth experiencing authentic taste of fresh Guacamole ?I am vegetarian, there was one option with Quesadilla but easily customized Enchilladas to Vegetarian. Which they served with authentic handmade corn tortilla! Some servers can't speak English but some can. They are cooperative. All the food and service was great. We would like to go again!Vegetarian options: They can customize any dish to vegetarian when you ask“
“Items I ordered:⚫️ Quesabirria Tacos (9.7/10)⚫️ Chips & Queso (7/10)⚫️ Churros (6.5/10)My Total: $27Quesabirria Tacos (3 for $15):The ingredients tasted very fresh and the cilantro and onion complimented the generous amount of beef on these tacos. Although the consume was very oily, it paired well with the tacos and made the beef more tender and juicy.Chips & Queso ($5):The chips and queso were alright. The chips were crunchy but a little on the stale side and under salted. The portion of queso was smaller than I’d expected but tasted good. Queso was not spicy at all, which disappointed me a little. (I like peppers in queso but that’s a personal preference).Churros (~$6):The churros had a sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar and came with a strawberry sauce. I expected the churros to be a lot longer for the price but it was just 4 short churros. However, I’m aware that the to-go version of a menu item is often smaller than dine-in. The churros were a bit tough and on their own were not too sweet. I wouldn’t eat them without the strawberry sauce.Overall I liked the food and would like to try their other locations as well.“
“Great food and serve last night with a packed house, great service/ kind, patient & informative,Love the salsa bar & sidewalk dining. Great prices. They let you customize items... like a side of grilled cactus, Prices are reasonable,Atmosphere is cheesy & starting to show wear in booths. It is clean & they do a lot of take out.., Can't go wrong here!“
“We ordered dinner online. It was ready on time, and exactly as ordered. We got two burritos which came with a side of chips, and refried beans. At first I was disappointed that they didn't deliver, but my husband reminded me about their salsa bar. We took samples of our favorites and enjoyed sharing them when we got home. Overall an excellent experience that we don't take advantage of enough!“
“I had the pleasure of dining at Papas & Beer recently, and it was an unforgettable experience. After not visiting for a few years since moving to the area, I was thrilled to rediscover this gem. The tropical salmon dish, with its jalapeño butter sautéed vegetables, fruit relish, and side of frijoles de la polla and corn cake, was a flavor explosion that left my taste buds dancing. My wife opted for the Coctel de Cameron, a delectable mix of hand-selected shrimp in a delightful sauce of tomatoes, Pico de Gallo, cilantro, and citrus juices, topped with creamy avocado slices. The service was impeccable, and every dish we tried was simply delicious. Papas & Beer is a must-visit for anyone seeking a culinary adventure.“
“As a Hispanic I’m pretty skeptical on Mexican restaurants because usually it’s white washed commercial nonsense. This was not that. I’m fully convinced they have a squad of abuelas back there chopping it up on their comal. There’s no way they have industrial machines back there this was straight up like a home cooked meal.Beans were fire enchiladas were fire carne asada and rice was on point. Salsa queso and chips were all awesome too.Maurice was extremely attentive to us as well. All around 5 star experience.“
“Rosie, is the best person to be greated by. She and the food here is a memorable experience. Tasty food Mexican Cuisine service with a smile and an atmosphere similar to a Mexican Bistro. We'll go back there many times as we are new to South Carolina and found a great place to have our dinner.Parking: plenty of parking.“
