Meh. TINY oysters (less than 3 inches), not great service and the peel and eat shrimp could not be peeled. Felt rushed by staff. Disappointed.

Genuinely some of the best food I've had ever, I'm still dreaming about the beet and burrata salad, radiatore, and the chocolate cremeux dessert. Rarely are dishes so good I'm motivated enough to even try to recreate but days after the burrata salad I did just that (ofc it wasn't as good as the original). The chocolate cremeux was the dessert of my dreams: the perfect saltiness of the cookie with the creaminess of the marshmallow and chocolate was absolute heaven. I'm just sad I can't go back right away since we visited Charleston only briefly.

I couldn’t wait to write this. Starting off with a sassy waitress whom clearly was the obstinate daughter, telling us what we can and cannot have. No scrambled eggs. No additional items. No changes. Then she coined “ this isn’t Waffle House”. Wow. Then we waited 25 minutes for coffee. They seated us downstairs on the patio … here’s an idea. Since there’s a busing station on the patio how about a coffee station? 25 minutes forCoffee ???? AreYou kidding me and then to listen to the sass. The food was okay. And I mean. O. K. So do better.

Went in with no reservation at 7:45pm on a Friday and we were seated before 8:30pm, I was definitely impressed based on how busy they were! We got a drink while we waited, and there’s plenty of spots on the property to hang out and wait. When we got seated, service was pretty quick and the food was AMAZING. I have no complaints. We got the obstinate flatbread which came with a butter bean purée & was delicious. My boyfriend, who doesn’t usually like gnocchi, ordered the short rib gnocchi because of reviews and he almost licked his plate clean. I got the radiatori, which I was trying not to shovel in my mouth because it was so good. Loved, will hopefully be back soon.Parking: There’s limited spots in their parking lot, but plenty of street parking

We are outside and had great service. We had a local lettuce salad and then we shared the old danger pizza and strozzapetti pasta. We were not able to finish it all but we wanted to try both a pasta and pizza. Everything was excellent! Definitely will go back to try other dishes. Wonderful spot!

DO NOT RECOMMEND. My experience here has been nothing but awful. The bar staff was very dismissive, it felt like they saw I was young and did not care about my service because I was not someone that looked like they had money. We spent one and a half hours waiting for my table when I was told it would be 45 minutes. When we finally got sat, we had to wait 15 minutes for a waitress to see us. The waitress was so rude. You could really tell whatever script she had in her head as a server is memorized and completely impersonal. When she finally came to greet us, she referenced my friends water bottle and insinuated it had alcohol in it (as a 22 year old server I completely get making sure no one gets in trouble with alcohol). When we said there was nothing but water in the stanley cup, she said they had cameras and it would be better if the cup was behind the “server station.” again we repeated there was just water in the bottle. She said she would come back up after we had a second to look at the menu. After 10 more minutes she came back and took the bottle from my friend and put it in a corner behind us. At this point, she had asked me if I had any allergies because I had said I did not find anything on the menu I liked, When I told her i had no allergies she re-stated that the food could be made gluten or shellfish free and I told her again I had no allergies. At this point, me and my 4 others friends decided this would not be the place for us. My friend had to find her water bottle from behind the “server pass” bar before we could leave. I would never spend $30 on a pasta dish from such an awful server nor would i spend so much money on a place that has absolutely no respect for their customers. I have been working in the food industry for 6 years and I have never seen anything worse. So inappropriate. We have spent 2 hours at a place where i got no food and drinks from the bar.

What a cool location! Climb up to the second floor for a cozy, vibrant experience. We were craving pizza, which coincided perfectly with their pizza-only menu as they transitioned to dinner. The Rutledge pizza was terrific. The Italian sausage provided a nice flavor, the crust was baked perfectly, the cheese pull was mouthwatering, and the flakes added a little heat. The Moultrie was also excellent. The pepperonis were large and baked perfectly. Service was excellent, and the pricing was on par for what you get—I loved the decor with it's tie to historical events. I would absolutely visit again.

The meal here was really good. We had the Ricotta Gnocchi and the Cheeky Monkey, and loved both! The wait staff was really nice as well. Our only qualm was the gelato place downstairs (owned by the same company) didn't have great hospitality, but that was after our meal.Parking: 8-10 parking spots in the lot, but there is street parking on the main strip and side streets.
