Prices were a little high, but the food was good. Portions were a little small for what you pay, but good. Service was great. Watch out, that dragoon punch has a pretty solid bite to it, but it's delicious.So an update to this: We came for brunch a couple times and it was amazing. Great food, good portions, coffee is ok. Service is great as always. Ask for well done fries, that was the only thing that wasn't perfect

First time visiting Poogans Southern Kitchen. We were graciously greeted and welcomed. The restaurant has a calming atmosphere. We were seated upstairs, and our waiter was so friendly, attentive, and kind. The appetizers and entrees were delicious, and I can't wait to go back .

I had this place marked to go eat and I'm glad I did I couldn't stop eating I thought I was gonna bust. The service was good and the gladly accommodated my Aunt with her wheelchair although they do not have wheelchair access it would be nice if they build a ramp for wheelchairs. And they charged $2.00 for ice in my Margarita ice that melts away and I couldn't take it with me cause it has alcohol in the glass. But the food was very good I had Shrimp and grits.
