Great find and good value, it was busy but the line moves fast and the service is solid. We had the breakfast special which was a delicious bagel with your choice of egg, meet and cheese served with a cup of coffee. My daughter had a cinnamon roll and raspberry danish not are solid, in addition she had a mango smoothie it was the only item we would pass on in the future.

I've been getting takeout here during vacation. It's an excellent breakfast place. The coffee is great, with a choice of light, medium, or dark roasts. Pastries are excellent, with an attention to detail like flaky outsides and soft, chewy insides. My one gripe is the bagels: They aren't bagels. To be fair, the places that serve real bagels in the south are few and far between. A bagel is boiled and baked: if it's just baked, it's bagel-shaped bread. BUT I will say that these are by far the best non-bagel bagels I've ever had! The real test is that they are good un-toasted, which is how actual bagels must be eaten. Service is excellent. They stay efficient and friendly when the line goes around the corner.

The food was delicious! The bacon was left off of surfside beach bagel & a bacon egg and cheese. VERY disappointed in the way a employee handled things when they got my coffee wrong. We ordered the billie jean and only put one flavoring in there (when there was supposed to be 3). So we asked her to just put the rest of the flavoring that was supposed to be in the coffee. She then SCREAMED at us in the middle of the store because it was wrong. She was so mean to us! That is not the way an employee needs to talk to customers. The rest of the employees were super helpful, the original lady who took care of us was super sweet! she got us a pastry for the inconvenience. she and the other cashier were amazing, but the lady that was screaming at us does not need to be at this job.

First of all, I would like to say, the staff in this bakery is so nice it just makes you feel so comfortable. The wife & I went for lunch. I had a BLT, which was great. Fresh made bread toasted of course. Plenty of BLT on it as well. They do not have fountain drinks, which was no big deal, but they do make all the yuppie coffees you can handle. Had a coconut macaroon which was well worth the price, and some donut holes. You can definitely tell everything you have is fresh. They have a pretty extensive menu, and the prices are reasonable. Very homey atmosphere inside, with tables outside as well. Definitely recommend this bakery. Easy to find, right off of bus. 17 in Surfside Beach.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! I would go for breakfast every morning if I didn't turn into a cow . Doissants (sp?), Danishes, cookies, donut holes, and brownies we tried were all incredible! Iced coffee was just as great! Will return again and again!

I'd say this was a hidden gem, but it's definitely no secret! We went here two days in a row on vacation and the line was so long, it was wrapped around the shop and all the way out the door! I can see why! The place had so much to offer, including coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, baked goods, etc. Despite the long line, it moved pretty quickly! That staff is a well-oiled machine! We tried to much stuff in our two trips. I had a cold brew, which was tasty, but not WOW. We also tried some vanilla cupcakes, which were so moist and tasty! The Asiago bagel: YUMMMM! The chia latte was one of the best I've ever had, packed with flavor! Such a great spot !
Benjamins is a tremendous place We stopped by three times when on vacation Food is super prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly and helpful. A wonderful place

Very cute and wide selection of breads and sweets. The cashier we had was very sweet and just made our day so much better. Obviously good morals in place, wonderful place to stop for a quick lunch or a lovely conversation. - happy tourists

Benjamin's Bakery is an absolute stop if you are in the Garden City/ Surfside Beach area. Even if you are staying in Myrtle Beach and want to make a trip, you won't be disappointed! We loved it so much and went twice and our family even brought back bagels the other 2 days. We always got breakfast and I had the egg, cheese, and sausage sandwich on an everything bagel and a Asiago bagel the second trip. The bagels are AMAZING. Made fresh everyday. Family owned and in business for over 25 years. The coffees were made good as well. You can also come here for lunch and buy bagels, pastries, and bread. They do have indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking around the building. We will definitely be back the next time we visit South Carolina.

We ate twice during our stay and it was great both times! They have bagels, pastries, and any type of breakfast sandwich or wrap! They also serve lunch which also looked delicious. Our food was great and prices are reasonable! It stays a little on the crowded side for good reason but the wait isn't too long and so worth it! The frappes and smoothies are delicious and everything tastes fresh! Will eat here again on our next trip to the beach!
