Food was crazy expensive for fairly small portions. $70 for three people for takeout. Salads that came with the meals were sad, small, wilted. We had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and lasagna, all were okay but nothing special.

After moving here years ago, w finally checked this place out. Have been hearing good things about it for a while. Looks are deceiving. It is part of a small strip mall, so we were not expecting too much. Seating inside is somewhat basic, but there are table cloths with glass on top, place settings nicely set with cloth napkins. A bit of a weird mix IMO with the basic tile floors and basic chairs, but it works for the beach. You'd be comfortable in a nice pair of shorts like you just came in off the beach, or a bit more dressy. The service was outstanding. Best service we have had in years anywhere. The food was wonderful. Simple and delicious. I had the lasagna, somewhat basic, but something so many places put to many spices in. This is the best I have had since my mother passed. The last bite was as good as the first. In my book, if you can do this simple dish well, everything you do should be great. I will be back to test that theory. Prices were reasonable for what you get. 10 outta 10, we will be back.
Very nice restaurant! I ordered 2 large pizzas to go, very fast. Staff was friendly & they have the BEST pizza I've had in a long time. Will definitely be back when my family craves pizza nights.

I've lived here since 2012 and never tried this place. The food was a little pricey......but everything is expensive these days. Totally worth the price though, I had the chicken francese and it was so tender you could cut it with your fork. The white wine sauce was really tasty too! It's a little bit of a nicer place so not an everyday place for me but I will definitely be back.Oh and everyone else I went with had a great experience too. We went out as a group of 5 and everyone in our party was super satisfied with their meal and service!!

Just came back from there after celebrating a couple of friends birthdays. The food and service was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and the owner even sat at the head of the table like a great host does and told stories and listened to our stories and jokes. He brought out the lemoncello and port wine as a treat. Can’t recommend it enough. Thank you.

Myself and my family while on vacation recently, went to Valentino's restaurant for dinner. At first, we thought the place was ok. However, sadly, all of us ended up with bad cases of diarrhea later that night. It was the only place we ate that day because of time constraints. I would find it very hard to believe all that diarrhea was just a coincidence. When I called and spoke to the owner about our experience, he offered no sympathy, and suggested my family & I were only looking for a discount--we never even asked for such a discount. Our only concern was that no one else got diarrhea like we all did. This episode essentially ruined our entire vacation.

Excellent Italian food, atmosphere, and service!! We went for dinner on New Year’s Eve while in the area celebrating my mom’s birthday and all 7 of us LOVED our food (eggplant parm, lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo, and the large seafood platter for two)! I wish they would open one in Wilmington, NC!! Locally owned and managed! We will be back!!Vegetarian options: Loved the Eggplant Parm!!!!
I brought my beautiful young wife here on Christmas Eve based on reviews I have read. We had fried calamari as our appetizer. It was average at best. For dinner we chose Zuppa Di Pesce for two. I was a bit stunned when the waiter told me it would be $126 but after all the good things I read about the food here I decided to go for it. It took about 40mins to prepare. It came out on a huge platter and looked impressive. As we started to dig in I noticed that there were three clams. Kind of funny for a dish for two people. The mussels were cold to the touch. The sauce was very bland. Prego makes a better sauce. The calamari was overcooked to the point that it was inedible. (I did take it home to resole my flip flops though. It will last a lifetime). The shrimp was good. Then it was time for the lobster tails. Again they were way overcooked. It took all the strength I had to get it out of the shell. I've never had a worse lobster tail in my life. We complained to the waiter. A few minutes later the owner comes to us and says he has served over one hundred of them today with no complaints. lol. He did take 15% off the bill but it will be the last nickel I will spend there.

We ended up leaving after waiting a substantial amount of time with numerous wait staff passing us no one wanted to take our order. Very disappointing considering the place was almost empty. For all the good service reviews wasn't hitting the mark.

My family and I came here for dinner in July, and I can't stop thinking about what an amazing experience we had here. My mother and I are gluten free and they were more than accommodating and the food was delicious. What set this place above was the kind staff and wonderful service. We brought my 18 month old daughter and when I tell you I've never felt so welcomed bringing my child into a restaurant/business, which as a mom is not always the case! Every staff member that passed by was so sweet and kind to us! Thank you so much for your amazing food and service :)

It was a relaxing, enjoying atmosphere. The meal started with complimentary garlic knots and bread (very good). Food was great (especially the sauce). Service was at a really good pace. Definitely coming back and suggest others try it.
