“The staff are so nice and one gave me and my friends a free footlong cookie. It is pretty clean exept some of the tables but there were very few staff so it is 100% undertoodVegetarian options: You can choose what you want on your sandwich so obviously it is vegitarian-friendly.Dietary restrictions: You can choose what you want on your sandwich so obviously it is friendly for most restrictionsParking: Just a basic parking lot.Kid-friendliness: I guess it is kid friendly there is a kids menuWheelchair accessibility: 100% accesible”
“It's a food truck currently, hence the 3* for atmosphere, food quantity and quality are top notch IMHO, and it's repeated each visit, not had a bad take away as opposed to another BBQ house in downtown Clemson, where we always encountered more fat than palatable.”
“The food here was amazing. The sushi burrito was devoured by myself and my wife. My son slurped down the ramen (noodle soup he calls it). Everything was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend!”
“My wife and I visited for lunch.FIRST IMPRESSIONS: They have done a wonderful job setting a vibe with the decor. It would have been easy to make this place look cheap and uninspiring, however, the owners have done just enough to make it look effortlessly hip and classy. Great job!THE FOOD: My wife had the RUBYcon (corned beef brisket on rye). She was leery ordering it, being our first visit here and all; corned beef can be done wrong. She was very impressed at the taste. Corned beef is made or missed by what you accent it with. Ruffage's choice of S&S pineapple, cabbage, swiss, aioli, honey basil dijon on rye, was a perfect combination!I had the Tony Burger Bowl mainly because of the photo on their website; it looked like a fun, complex mess! I have to admit that for my burgers, I tend to be very traditional (meat, cheese, dressing, tomato), but I figured that I would either love this place or this would be our last visit here. I.e. let's jump in with both feet!Well! This was the most complex and wonderful burger I have ever had the pleasure of eating! It was perfectly cooked. The flavors of the chili were bold, the beef was perfectly seasoned, the bun was absolutely perfect as well.THE STAFF: Just as we have come to expect since moving here from California, the staff were so sweet, accommodating and efficient. The restaurant was definitely set up by a gourmet chef because our meals were nothing less than what I would expect at a true gourmet cafe.SUMMARY: We are so fortunate that we found the beautiful quaint town of Pendleton to make our forever home in. There are many little gems that we have discovered here. Ruffage Cafe is the newest member of that list.If you are local, it would be a shame to say that you've never been, and if you are passing the general area it is worth making a trip out of the way to visit. As for my wife and I: We will be visiting many many times over by ourselves and with friends. I am looking forward to trying the Carolina Cuban next!”
“Service was great.wife had the salmon I don’t eat fish but I actually liked the salmon I had the porterhouse for 60 bucks had very little seasoning a below average steak at ”
“Look I'm not saying anything bad about this place the food was awesome tonight you got a brisket in the chopped chicken yeah I got to be more careful about how y'all cut that chicken cuz this is twice that I done found bones bones in the chicken and you can barely see but it's enough to choke someone to death if you know what I mean but some people don't and they go to eat that and they choke on that bone y'all need to take accountability how you cut that damn chicken back there play I'm tired of finding bones that you can choke on there's little kids that love grilled chicken and stuff like that it don't matter it can choke an adult y'all just be more more careful”
“Great food and great service. Hands down my favorite place to grab breakfast in Seneca. My wife and I like to split either an omelette or Sergeant Pyle and the French Toast. Delicious!”
“The bird box Stromboli is off the chain! I am very picky & honestly don’t like many people’s Stromboli but they nailed it. Had pizza too which was good but that Stromboli I will definitely be back for.”
“Smith Farm Supply had our annual Grower’s meeting here. The food and service were fantastic. They accommodated our large crowd (30+) with southern hospitality. We were gifted a sampler lunch by a wonderful customer of ours, Premier Fencing. Everything on the sampler was amazing. The people and the food are always so good to us. We order lunch there about once a month. The turkey is probably the best turkey that I have ever eaten. The ribs were perfectly cooked and delicious. The smoked sausage had the perfect amount of heat. All of the meat selections were so decadent that no sauce was needed. The cheesy taters and the sweet potatoes are on point.”
“Only been for breakfast so far. Good service, accommodating. Food portions generous, and tasty. Have already been twice since up that way.And---- one of the cleanest bathrooms I have seen lately in a restaurant.Do recommend.”
“This review is for a visit on a Friday night for dinner. Large crowd but the wait time was only 10 minutes.Wow, this place is amazing! Very clean, beautifully decorated, great service, fresh ingredients, and delicious food. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be going back! Highly recommend this restaurant.”
“This is a cute coffee shop and a great place to get work done. While it has pretty solid coffee and a comfortable space, the thing I love is the food. There are several food items here that are incredible! Me and my friends call the cinnamon rolls ‘life changing’ and we aren’t joking. They have this wonderful caramel sauce on them which goes nicely with the flavor. The savory scones are great as well!”
“We came by here for a tour of clemson. It was a bit chilly but I can see with the water views, this is such a terrific place to come eat. On to the food - you can order personal.pizzas 7 and 10" (larger too- I just like the 7" option), choice of white or wheat, then create your own. It's thin dough, but i really liked the pizza. It was surprisingly good. Not too heavy or paper things, tateless - service was fast. This place gets packing! We got there at 1130, garage retail parking so easy. When we left, there were no spots and the restaurant was decently full.”
“By far my favorite restaurant in the area. Hands down. Quality in every ingredient. The kimchi is the best I have ever had. I cannot say enough great things about this place. I'm bringing my family for my birthday meal coming up and going to try the Taste of Seoul. A very nicely set up space as well.”
“Best pizza in the upstate SC area(haven’t been here that long to try everything). Staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful with the choice. Margherita pizza is as good of a pie as I’ve had south of the Mason Dixon line”
“Cozy space, fantastic service. Tasty food & wine. Our server Noah was great. 3 of us shared the lovely (large) charcuterie board, along with a bottle of Italian pinot grigio & the Pinot Parfait wine flight. An additional cabernet I tried to order had been replaced with a different one I was unfamiliar with. So Noah generously offered to bring me a tasting of it before I ordered. Love this place and the adjacent wine shop.”
“The brewery really had some great beer and I loved that they offered a flight of beer! The atmosphere was awesome and the band was great! The food good definitely use some improving! Taste of the burgers was just so so. The pretzel was very tasty.”
“We drive over an hour to get the cinnamon roles when they are available and you have to get on a fb list just to reserve them. Their other fresh breads and doughnuts are delicious but be warned they sell out quick and early. They serve lunch but I've not tried it.”
“I love this place! The coffee is amazing, and so is the staff. Once, the staff closed early for no reason. I had driven across town to get coffee, and I was so sad to see they closed early. Two other people tried getting coffee, and were disappointed too. HOWEVER, the owner made it 100% better by putting points on my account. I am HIGHLY satisfied by the place, and I’m glad that they are always making the customer happy. I will always be going back!”
“Charlotte, our hostess was sweet and attentive. Later found out that is was her first day. Lawson, our server was awesome. Was on point on cocktail refills, never having to wait on one. And was very receptive to my dry humor. Perfect spot to watch the sunset out on the patio. Food was amazing including the sushi. Best sushi by far.”
“We went to a couple ice cream shops while vacationing in SC and this one was the best! There were around 60 different flavors and I was thrilled to see vegan options. As someone that is lactose intolerant, this made my day! The flavors were amazing!”
“Finally! A place that offers a half sandwich. This is great if you can't eat a large sandwich. Unfortunately, I didn't find that out until after I had ordered and sat down and the lady came around and asked if everything was okay. Tea, water and lemonade are complementary. That's very nice. This place is very small. But they do have outside seating. It's very nice in the spring and early summer.”
“We called and the answered on the first ring.we had a very large order for 10 people. Special orders . They had it ready with in 20 mins and bagged up with the written orders on the take out boxes. The orders was made exactly how we told them the way we wanted it . The food was made to perfection. Friendly staff and very respectful of others. The prices are also amazing.Such Great experiences every time. Thanks for such great service.”
“The staff are very nice and quick. The ice cream is some of the best I've ever tried, and they have some absolutely adorable decorations. They are a great place to try if you want to take the family out or a date they will make sure you have a lovely evening.Vegetarian options: Deserts with no cremeParking: Kinda cramped but overall easy to park and get outKid-friendliness: They have a great kids selection and ice cream is always a youngins favorite snackWheelchair accessibility: Ramps in the concrete not far at all from the store”
“Located in the Clemson University Student Center. My wife a University of South Carolina graduate raved about the Clemson ice cream and we made the detour to check it out. It lived up to the expectations and we walked out with plenty of goodies for all!”
“This was my first time stopping in to grab some food, rest assured it will NOT be my last time. The food was phenomenal, if you haven't had they have surpassed the meaning of " SOUL FOOD ". You could taste they heart and soul in the food. Oh, I forgot to tell you all my food was a to go plate and still was done to high standards.Highly recommend that you all stop in and get some food here.”
“I've only been in here a couple of times but the staff is always friendly. I got whole bean coffee which was good. I checked out the craft beer selection and it too was good and the prices in line with other shops of this nature. Plus they have mead which put them over the top for me. They also have some wine but that's not my thing so no judgement on that. I'm going to plan a trip to sample the food and draft beer in the near future.”
“The food is ALWAYS on spot. The restaurant & restrooms are always clean, but my favorite thing about this spot is the customer service. Every single person ALWAYS makes you feel welcomed & truly appreciated. It’s definitely our go to place for Mexican food.”
“First time at this restaurant. I had a bbq sandwich plate with mac and cheese and sweet potato crunch. It tasted amazing. The sweet potatoes were like candy and so good. I tried the "sweet" bbq sauce. I would buy a whole bottle of it. Ill definitly be back and im bringing ”
“Enjoy this place and enjoy playing pool there also. The bartenders are exceptionally nice, and I managed to keep the pool table for 6 straight games. I rarely visit but when I do I enjoy myself every time!”
