Haven't eaten since the 90s.had alot of racial rumors about it.but decided to lunch there today with my wife.food was awesome and waitress and front counter was nice.great presentation.4 stars for atmosphere just becuz of crying baby but other than that was overall lovely will return soon...
I eat a LOT of BBQ, esp. in the Carolinas. But I'd not eaten the Q from this location in about 52 years. My loss. Same deeply woodsy-slightly sweet savory taste that I'd remembered from my college days. The brisket was moist and tender. The ribs had a nice sauce glaze and great texture -- tender and chewy, not cooked-to-death mushy. I needed sauce on neither - my test for great Q. Crisp slaw; fresh tea.
