“Decent Barbecue in a very scenic area. I should note that the South Carolina mustard sauce here is different from anything else I have tasted. First it is brown and is very sweet. It also has a bit of a vinegar flavor with the mustard. I am personally not a big fan of very sweet sauces, however, if that is up your alley this is the place. The Pulled pork doesn't come chopped much, so you will likely need to pull it. The pork is also had a lot of fat that wasn't fully rendered. I should also mention the portions are massive and will likely be enough for 2 meals which is great! Overall, worth a road trip for the entire experience!”
“I don't love Mexican food and this place is consistently good. Fresh guacamole is a favorite. Salsa bar with fresh chips is great. Margaritas are on point with a nice happy hour. Haven't had a bad meal and has a comfortable atmosphere.”
“If you love home cooking.. you have to come to Yousefs. The food is DELICIOUS. The waitstaff is excellent! It is cafeteria style, or you can order off the menu. Some of the best fried chicken I've eaten. The atmosphere is family home style and very welcoming.”
“Always a pleasant experience the few times we have been. Really like the salsa bar! Kinda wish they were labeled though. Food is good with decent flavors. I will go back.Vegetarian options: From fajitas to burritos”
“Good morning is said to you when greeted for breakfast ?. Friendly country atmosphere with the touch of neighborly smiles. I strongly recommend that you give this little "family" restaurant a visit and feel at home and enjoy the great food ? ? ? ?. I almost forgot that there is a great menu to choose from and substituting items is not an issue.”
“What I love the most about Eva's besides the level of nostalgia that hits me everytime I walk through the door is the balance between breakfast and lunch. Most places, one of these choices is the better option. Here, both are equally amazing. Check 'em out. Sometimes the waitstaff get pretty busy, but be patient with them; you won't find a genuinely kinder waitstaff. You can ask your food be plated in a to-go container to save time if you wish. Food pictured: Turkey and dressing with cranberry sauce, macaroni and cheese, carrots, and peach cobbler. And fried chicken with macaroni and cheese, brown gravy over mashed potatoes, and chocolate whipped cream pie. And rolls.Kid-friendliness: Some coloring books”
“Probably the best food in Westminster that isn't Mexican. The only reason I didn't give five stars on atmosphere is because the place is usually extremely busy and short staffed so sometimes they may not answer the phone, or have limited seating. But you can't beat the taste or value. Try a birddog. You won't regret it.”
“Good solid breakfast place. I got a country ham platter with grits and a biscuit. The country ham was a nice big thin slice cooked great and tasted wonderful. The eggs were just like I wanted and the only thing that kept it from being a 5 star were the grits. They were a tad soupy. You order at the counter, get your own drink and silverware, grab a seat and they bring the food to you. I was there about 6:30 and they weren't too busy so my food was up fast. They were efficient and the food was overall good. If I could give them 4.5 stars I would.”
“I am very happy with customer service, they are always helpful and respectful to the customers. They will never be a time with them that I don’t feel uncomfortable or disrespectful or upset about an order. Always top tier!!!! ?”
“I like Hardee's food. Prices are getting too high though. Locally, Westminster's was the best, now not so much. I walked in and ordered a breakfast platter. I was the only person at the counter. The person taking my order spoke out my order to the preparer. Two others came in. They were served. Once again, the preparer was told of my order. Another person came in and was served. Again, they were told of my order. The preparer in the back pointed to his screen looking puzzled. The person who took my order then went to the back and prepared my breakfast platter. I worked in food service for many years in the past and am very familiar with their procedures. My order obviously did not show up on the preparer's screen, or in an effort to not appear slow, it was cleared from the screen, possibly by someone else. Fast food franchises are scored for efficiency by the amount of time the order stays on the preparers screen. One button push clears the oldest, (top), order. It is somewhat normal for the preparers to quickly look at the screen, press the button to clear the order, THEN prepare the food. This makes corporate believe that they have very fast service. If the button is pressed without everyone being aware, the preparer simply doesn't see it. Management is VERY aware of this practice. I know for a fact it happens in multiple local fast food restaurants. As a paying customer, I deserve my meal correct, hot, and on time. Very poor business practice folks. All that said, the gentleman who took my order was polite, on point, and followed up to ensure I was taken care of. He was great.”
“THIS owner needs to teach OTHER owners how to make a burger. We haven't had a Whopper this good at a BK in over 30 years! I had 3 pickles on a Whopper with cheese; we usually get 1 from other stores. Even the kids' meal burger had them! Everything was fresh and generous and flavorful.”
“All of the staff was really nice and helpful. The food was delicious. Even the kid's meal items were good and was enough to feed a grown adult. I definitely recommended eating here if you are in Walhalla!”
“Unfortunately this isn't a review of the food a Vangelis. This is a critique of the menu choices. The only non redmeat option is salmon. Who ever heard of a menu without chicken. You can get grilled chicken with salad, but there isn't a chicken entree. Are they trying to be a steakhouse? We canceled reservations because of their lack of options. I know it's not my restaurant, but take a lesson from the Dimas Bros, have an option for everyone. You can delete this if you don't agree.”
“By far my favorite restaurant in the area. Hands down. Quality in every ingredient. The kimchi is the best I have ever had. I cannot say enough great things about this place. I'm bringing my family for my birthday meal coming up and going to try the Taste of Seoul. A very nicely set up space as well.”
“Cozy space, fantastic service. Tasty food & wine. Our server Noah was great. 3 of us shared the lovely (large) charcuterie board, along with a bottle of Italian pinot grigio & the Pinot Parfait wine flight. An additional cabernet I tried to order had been replaced with a different one I was unfamiliar with. So Noah generously offered to bring me a tasting of it before I ordered. Love this place and the adjacent wine shop.”
“Armageddon, Beignet's, cheese grits, oh my! Great breakfast spot. Our Air BnB had Dimas Brothers on their list for breakfast, and we are so glad we went! Huge portions and the best grits ever! I didn't have to put anything in them, no salt, pepper, or butter! They were perfect! Even my wife, who never eats more than a bite, ate half of my grits! The Armageddon was awesome, and so tasty! The Beignet's were light, airy, and delicious. Our server, Heather B. Was super nice and very attentive, and her service was impeccable! If we are ever in the area, we will definitely be back!Thank you, Dimas Brothers!”
“Finally! A place that offers a half sandwich. This is great if you can't eat a large sandwich. Unfortunately, I didn't find that out until after I had ordered and sat down and the lady came around and asked if everything was okay. Tea, water and lemonade are complementary. That's very nice. This place is very small. But they do have outside seating. It's very nice in the spring and early summer.”
“I love this place! The coffee is amazing, and so is the staff. Once, the staff closed early for no reason. I had driven across town to get coffee, and I was so sad to see they closed early. Two other people tried getting coffee, and were disappointed too. HOWEVER, the owner made it 100% better by putting points on my account. I am HIGHLY satisfied by the place, and I’m glad that they are always making the customer happy. I will always be going back!”
“I've only been in here a couple of times but the staff is always friendly. I got whole bean coffee which was good. I checked out the craft beer selection and it too was good and the prices in line with other shops of this nature. Plus they have mead which put them over the top for me. They also have some wine but that's not my thing so no judgement on that. I'm going to plan a trip to sample the food and draft beer in the near future.”
“I only gave it a four because all I ate was the onion rings. I was only there to spend time with my daughter and grandchildren while they ate lunch. So, I really don't know much about any other menu item. BUT, if they are anything like the one in Anderson, you will NOT be disappointed.”
“The food was great, and the atmosphere pleasant! I enjoyed the Cuban torta sandwich and my wife and niece and friends had fish tacos, tongue taco salad and we also enjoyed excellent guacamole chips and white queso cheese dip. All was served hot and together for our table. This was my first visit and I feel pretty confident Mary's will continue to deliver deliciousness!”
“We had an excellent meal at Bonterra last night. I had achicken dish and my husband had Mojo Pork. Both were flavorful, tender and nicely presented. Portions were good sized, sides and salads were tasty. Food is made from scratch so it takes a bit longer, but it's well worth it. We look forward to going back.”
“How fun! We loved the atmosphere, friendly personal service and over the top ice cream. I had key lime pie ice cream and my grandson had cotton candy ice cream. Delicious and so fun to watch it being made with liquid nitrogen. We will be back!”
“This place was a great, quaint space for my family and I to grab some lunch. It was a great place to eat while enjoying a beautiful day on the patio. They were also very friendly and welcoming”
“I've been twice and both times were very enjoyable. It's a quaint little coffee shop that's sure to satisfy about any appetite. My only criticism would be that the person taking our order didn't include 2 requests for water.Parking: It really depends on when you go as it's smack dab in the middle of downtown. If you're okay walking a block then there's usually plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely but not sure if there's a kid menu as we had a big kid with us who ate like an adult.Wheelchair accessibility: No personal experience, but there are couches and little seating areas that appear to be able to accommodate people with walking challenges.”
“Listen, the pizza is great. If you like a good pie, look no further and give them a try. Now, having said that, the reason I'll be making many more trips to Peace of Pie will be to have that slice along WITH their Carolina Cheese Steak sandwich.Their cheese steak sandwich may be one of the best i've had in a long time. They finish it off with a quick toast that crisps and melts the cheese, and the sub roll they use is... just the right ratio of crunch and chew... I'm already planning my next rendezvous.”
“eat outside if you're a smoker and enjoy your pipe, cigar, or other tobacco product on the stage while you're waiting for the best barbecue in the upstate... absolutely my favorite restaurant and the quality is worth the priceKid-friendliness: plenty of room for the kids to run around while parents watch them outside eating...”
“Triple D's is a excellent place to go hang out with friends. It's safe , the owners are always walking around talking to customers and making sure everyone is having a good time. The bonfire out front gives you a place to go talk and hangout also. It's clean ,laid back , affordable, and safe with plenty of parking. I highly recommend it for single women just wanting a safe , relaxing place with great music and pool tables just to hang out with your girlfriends.”
“The sign tells you all you need to know.Vegetables:Macaroni & cheeseMashed potatoesRice & gravyYou are at home when two of the three "vegetables" are macaroni and rice. Southern comfort food. If that ain't your thing just keep going.”
“Brought the grands here and they loved playing outside in the ice cream truck right across the street from the park so somewhere to run off some of the sugar ? also serve coffee and food.”
