“What a great spot! Rick's one hell of a dude when you get to know him ? this spots 10 miles off the beaten path but great drive and great people! If you've been there in the past and are used to only beer, it's changed they've got everything now. Thanks Rick!”
“My husband and I stopped in for a beer.. or two. Talked to some locals. But what I really want to rave about is the pizza! We had the one with everything on it, I don't remember the name of it, I live 70 miles away and plan to make a trip back just for the pizza!.”
“The cabin was great. Clean, stocked with what we needed. When toaster didn’t work we had a new one by late afternoon. The area is so beautiful. The owners are so nice and want to make sure you have what you need. When asked about place to dine out they answered so fast. They do a wonderful job. Would recommend to everyone. No hassle to check in and to checkout. We will be back!!! Thanks again”
“I’m absolutely furious at this place. I got the best chi latte ever here… and there is a sign on the door that says they are closing March 2024. Why would you do that to me? They set the standard for an amazing drink and then just yank it away.”
“Shawn was freaking awesome! Best shop owner ever. She was so friendly and fun. Made the experience a pure enjoyment. I was only visiting, but if I lived nearby, I would be here all the time. Great wines. Great tastes. Atmosphere gave the experience a worthwhile appeal.”
“Great beer and company on a very pretty property! Lots of different brews, which a breath of fresh air from the many places in the hills that 'specialize' in IPAs or ambers. They have a starfruit seltzer on tap that is great for any fan of the fruit (and honestly, quite unique!). Mango creme ale is their flagship brew, so definitely give that a try when you're here.”
“We had a very friendly waiter he was really attentive and from our home time of California. We got a couple pizzas cheesy bread and a glass of wine. Everything has great!!”
“We stayed here for 4 nights in the Bear Mountain Suite. We were made very welcome by Lisa and she was very helpful as we needed access to a phone. The suite was lovely and very cosy. It was completely themed with bears which was really cute from ornaments, pictures, soft toys, towels, shower curtain and the bed linen. There were plenty of supplies and there was a fridge, microwave etc. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was efficient. There was a nice little balcony area which was useful for storing cases. The location was excellent for shops and fooThere was parking right outside the suite and the doors all locked securely. I thoroughly recommend this place”
“They have great wines and serve a good lunch. They offer free tastings, so you'll find something you like unless you're too cool for non-grape wines. We ended up buying quite a few bottles. For lunch we each had the half sandwich and soup. Menu rotates but we both got the tortilla soup. My wife had the grilled cheese sandwich and I had the chicken pesto. It's worth the stop.”
“We tried to stop here on Sunday at 5pm and the location was closing for the season and they wouldn't let us eat. No signs on the door with the hours other than that Sunday, Oct 17th was their last day at that location. Don't plan to eat there.”
“It was a hot day during the bike rally and the family and i stopped for something to cool is off. That's when the manager gave them a free dipped cone each! Very friendly staff and ice cream was just as good as any Dairy Queen. Only reason for not giving that last start would be the interior seemed a bit run down, but other than that it was great!”
“We had dinner here as it was the only place open and so we were kind of weary since there were only 2 items on the dinner menu. We ended up ordering 2 bacon wrap filets and the German vegetarian dish and WOW. We ate everything and it was delicious. We were too full to try one of the desserts that people kept telling us to try.”
“After traveling most of the country, this brewery/winery is hands down the coolest! In terms of atmosphere and service as well as quality and variety of their offerings, we were so impressed! We shared a delicious made to order pizza to accompany our drinks; it was such a fun evening! ?”
“Diana made our day! What an amazing human! She helped me find an amazing wine to drink and was very happy and social.Dietary restrictions: I am on a Jeto diet and found options that worked for me.”
“On vacation and came across this little diner. The breakfast was excellent as well as the service. To be honest it’s the best meal we have had visiting South Dakota. The breakfast was so good we came back a second day for breakfast.”
“It's beautiful, and very well kept. The camping is closed for the winter.Still, it's Perfect for RV stays year around. The cabins look amazing too.Noteworthy details: This is not a hotel this is a campgrounds mostly for RVs also has cabins. It's a beautiful area”
“Best way to end the day at Mount Rushmore! Who knew the Mount Rushmore carvers had a baseball team? Somehow I missed seeing their uniforms, but the ice cream is a real treat! Flavors are fairly limited, how about some additions, like"carvers' favorite" with chunks to look like granite? Great price: two dips for $6.”
“Super friendly staff, tasty food, and great portions. I had the tatanka stew with fry bread and thought it was excellent. Needless to say, our visit to Crazy Horse was great as well!”
“Cheeseburger and fries for $14 which included lettuce, tomato and pickles, bison burgers, chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, chili, subs, salads, ice cream and beverages available. Burger was pretty good and we were hungry.”
“Best coffee I've ever had! The atmosphere of the shop was so cozy and comforting, and the gentleman behind the counter was so kind and friendly! Forget Starbucks- this is the real deal. ☕️”
