Amazing meal with fabulous service from a very professional & hard working Sarah. Salty Cowboy cocktail was carefully made a so tasty. Fillet mignon was perfectly cooked, tender & juicy. (Love that the menu included a map of the beef) Wedge salad was colorful, full of interesting ingredients & blue cheese dressing was fresh. Apple crisp desert with home made icecream was excellent way to finish this meal.

Cannot recommend this place enough! This was one of the highlights of the trip when we were traveling to Rapid City! The food was simply mindblowing and the portion size was something we didn't expect. The waitress who serviced us that day was kind and helped us figure out the menu and recommended signature items that just hit the bull's eye. The ambiance was classy and calm.If we are ever back in the city would love to visit again! Great job Dakotah Steakhouse staff!

So good!I orderedDueling TournedosOne filet with shrimp and bearnaise sauceThe other bacon wrapped with mushrooms and onionsThe filets were cooked just as I ordered medium rare. Perfect.so delicious, I couldn’t finished it all, a big portion of filet for one.Loved the atmosphere. The metal buffalo sculpture greeting you as you arrive is awesome! My server Brittany H was a wonderful server, attentive and efficient.Highly recommend this dining experience.

They were worried about getting us out in time for SD Basketball Tounament people. We get it, we were only celebrating a wedding engagement with a couple who love the place, but they couldn't care less...wanted us out for the teams and fans....we obliged.
Drove to South Dakota to buy a new boat. Stopped in Rapid City for tires and a hotel. Found this place because it was by our hotel & IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The food was amazing & so was our service. Highly recommend.

Have been here before and have had excellent food and service. Service and staff this time were fantastic. Both my wife and I ordered the Bison Tenderloin, same as in past visits. Ordered Medium Rare as in the past, always moist and tender. Came Medium well and was dry. For the price it should have been perfect. Ordered apple crisp for desert. Served in a bowl with lots of fake whipped cream. Over cooked so bad it was apple soup and absolutely no "crisp" to be found. Not worth eating. I am hoping it was just the cooks having a bad night, but $52 for each Tenderloin and $10 desert, I must say I was disappointed in the food quality v.s. price points. There are other places in the region where you can get 2 tenderloin meals with desert and drinks for 1/2 this price. I think I will drive a few extra miles next time.

Went with friends - my second visit in 3 nights. Dakotah was the perfect atmosphere for having an unforgettable evening.Service was amazing, food was astounding: Three Sisters Soup was perfect, Prime Rib was delectable cooked and seasoned perfectly.I had dessert this time and boy am I glad I did. Kuchen is South Dakota's play on creme brulee and was fantastic!Next time I'm in Rapid City I'm stopping back in.I most highly recommend Dakotah Steakhouse!
