The staff was very courteous and attentive. The steak was probably the best tasting steak that I have had in years. It is not an inexpensive place to eat, but after finishing your meal, most will return because the food, service and nice atmosphere will make you want to return

We held a high level business meeting. There was only 5 people and this venue was fantastic. The food and service was second to none. Great choices and it was quiet so we could have a conversation. I would recommend to everyone.

Service was super slow even though there were only two tables when my husband and I went and I was offended by them serving a creme brulee that was actually soggy. HOW? The sugar was SOGGY and the custard was basically liquid. Truly offensive to creme brulee

Came in on a Wednesday night . We looked at a couple different restaurants menus this one seemed the best . There were items on the online menu that weren't on the menu which is typical so not a huge deal . Drinks were good our appetizer was good (bacon wrapped shrimp) the entrées were ok nothing amazing . Our server kept skipping our table and there was a long delay between drinks and our courses . The final nail in the coffin was when we ordered creme brulee. It wasn't set and it was soggy on top like they forgot they were making it . The annoying part was our waiter brought out two and gave a free one to the table next to us before their entrées I'm assuming because it was also not set . For a higher end alleged restaurant extremely disappointed.

We ordered a Bruschetta they were out, ordered bacon wrapped shrimp they were out? We watched an order pass our table. Caesar salad was soupy and very small, the wedge was huge but not enough fixings and dressing to eat all the lettuce. On to the steak, filet looked good but the rib eye came out warmish and more rare than medium. It was tough, very gristly and you couldn't eat the fatty side of the meat. The baked potato (twice baked potato) was the best thing we had. Pork chop looked good. The prices were obscenely expensive for a dive restaurant in downtown Rapid. I am sure they can buy better quality meat cause that was Choice not prime! Will try again but they need to bring in more supplies. They could only make 2 cocktails then said they were out of ingredients. Shoestring or just bad management. Service was ok

We ordered two main items listed on the menu and they had neither. Substituted a caesar salad that came with extremely limp Romaine and just the ends and no crunch from the base of the leaf. Four times to much dressing ( it was drenched). Sent it back and ordered a iceberg wedge with crumbles of blue cheese ( seemed to lack a blue cheese flavor) that was better. The filet my wife had was a perfect medium rare with tons of flavor and maybe the most tender beef I have eaten. Overall, our experience was excellent made possible by Sam, the young lady that made us enjoy the occasion. We will definitely be back. Give Sam a raise in her base salary.

Oddly enough, I like Dakotah Steakhouse better. Delmonico did have a better atmosphere. They do add a living wage tax to bills before tip. Kind of weird when 5 people each ordered $75+ dollar steaks.

I ordered the salmon and my partner ordered an aged steak. The salmon was extremely fishy tasting with cold sides. The steak was decent. Not anything worth $75. The waitress asked me if I wanted something else. I tried the Sea Bass. Very small fillet with nothing really as a side. The menu stated it was served with brussel sprouts...not sure if they just were forgotten. We waited so long for our food, I didn't comment by the time the Sea Bass came out. The manager kindly comped the salmon and the Sea Bass was on the house. It was a really nice gesture. Very lovely staff...unfortunately the food was a big disappointment. I'm happy to pay for amazing food. This fell short of all the positive reviews and rave from the locals.

The food was delicious, and nicely prepared. I wanted the pork chops but they ran out within an hour and half after opening. The waiter didn't tell us in advance what was not available so was disappointed when I had to change my choice. Although they said they could make cocktails, they didn't have the supplies to make off menu items like a cosmopolitans or Jameson and ginger. It was just too many "we don't haves" in succession that made the experience disappointing. The foie gras, although was tasty, the presentation was unexpected and disappointing, based on past experience at the restaurant.

This is the best fine dining experience in Rapid City by far. I've been twice now and the food is always great, the service is top notch, and they have very well made drinks. A bit disappointed not all of the diners dress up, but it is Rapid City. A great place to go for a date night, anniversary, or really just for some good food! Five stars easily.

Service was fantastic which is why this has more than 1 star. Great steak tips as an appetizer. Both of our 75 dollar steaks tasted like gas/propane. Our service was amazing and it was cooked to our request so I didn't have the heart to say anything or send it back. Unfortunately will not be back.
