Want something to do on a Thursday night?? Yep, me too. 7th and st Joseph is it!! The street is blocked off for concerts, dancing, food, vendors, and mingling. Adults can get wrist bands and wonder for beverages. Kid friendly event! A few stores are open to visit. Lots of fun food to eat your way through the event. My only regret....yep forgot my chair but it's ok! Always next time. A fun filled event for sure. Tonight's featured band " Flannel". A few originals and a few old school. Was fun watching people singing along.

Final day in South Dakota. Kept it simple. Did downtown rapid city. Lot's of presidents statues. Historical hotel. Pawneseum. John Glenn lense and Michael Jackson glove

Went to Mitzi's Books and found a new baking book to play with. Also the St Joe antiques mall is always worth walking through. This stone lamp had me laughing and my mom confused.

Neat town to walk around downtown, seeing statues of all the president's, and many are in different poses - not just standing on the corners - the city did it right! Good places to eat, also.

Loved the whole area. Very artsy, lots of history, very clean and there's always something to do. Friendly people. Highly recommend you try the Elks Movie theater with the balcony.
There are lots of statues in Downtown Rapid City. We got there around dinner time, walked around, spun lots of Pokestops, and were quite happy that they weren’t charging for parking at the time. Unfortunately, the place that we were planning to eat was closing almost at the time that we were going to arrive, so we went somewhere else. It was a nice walk, very clean, and felt very safe.
