The Firehouse Brewing Company has such a wonderful atmosphere whether you are sitting at one of the tall tables or their beautiful patio. They have one of the vast patio areas. Occasionally, featuring live music on the patio area. Firehouse features a wide selection of beer brewed there. They have a wide variety of menu items. The artichoke dip and beer bread is one of the all time best!!! Their Reuben is probably the best I have ever had! Pair it with their Gorgonzola Ale soup and it’s a meal that is hard to beat. They have an Asian Tuna salad that is wonderful!!

The $10 burger special was phenomenal! I enjoyed my sour. I took off one star for the "non cash transaction fee" This is a pet peeve of mine. It's fine if the business is charging a fee to use credit cards, but this info was not readily available. The first time I was aware of it was when we received the check. This fee is 4%, which is the highest I've seen, and it's not posted anywhere.

Atmosphere is cool. This place has so much potential. HOWEVER, the food is absolute hot garbage (and sometimes it's not even hot, just garbage). I have tried this place so many times trying to figure out the hype, and it's just that- hype. Every single menu item I've tried has tasted like its been pulled out of the freezer and stuck in the microwave. Not to mention how extremely overpriced everything is regardless of the poor quality. Ignore the highway signs, and get your dinner literally anywhere else.

Smoke jumper Stout and the Bell Tower are both good... I'm sure they're all good, try one of each. Plenty of room inside and out. The menu looked good, but we didn't try the food.

Don’t be fooled by all the billboards on the highway with the amazing fire trucks under them on the way into Rapid City..Soup is a bad stew super thick and tasteless .The Rueben was just ok and too expensive for the quality of food .Stingy place very disappointing!

We are out of town and discovered this place on Google, decided to give it a shot and it was a great experience! Our waitress was Misty and she did an excellent job even when she was busy. Very polite and great service. Food was also good.
Historical look and feel is so great. The food was so delicious and definitely reasonable priced. The staff was amazing they helped me choose a good tasting beer. My kid will be attending college in rapid city so this will definitely be a must stop every time I am in town.

If i could leave a negative star rating I would. Me and my husband had never eaten at the firehouse, despite me being a rapid city native. We decided it was time to go.The atmosphere is pretty good, fun decor. The menu didn’t have alot of options.The food is less than appealing. I ordered “the chief” the pulled pork was not even edible, the bread under it might as well have been soaked in water and there was no kind of sauce added. It tastes even worse than it looks. The ribs were hard and burnt on the outside and the inside was slimy, one bite was enough for me after it made me litterly gag! The only thing that was edible on my plate was my fries and some of my baked potatoe.My husband ordered some kind of cricket burger and it looks like they threw it on the grill for 10 seconds, flipped it for another 10 and slapped it on a bun. Completely raw on the inside. It was still dripping blood and his bun was even red/pink from it.Way overpriced for the food quality. 94 dollars for me and him to each have a meal and we shared a dessert. That’s including the inside fee they charge you for using a credit/debit card!!This is a place i wouldn’t eat at again even if I was going to starve to death!

Try the schnitzel, totally a delight! Burgers are made to your liking, and have flavor and variety! Their Bloody Mary is VERY tasty…as spicy as you’d like!! This place is a Rapid City icon for a reason
