My husband and I really enjoy this place and have been coming here for years. We have our 'go-to' meals, but also love how extensive the menu is if we wanna get something new. They have a variety of sushi, bento, and meal plate options. We also really enjoy their blended boba teas (try the melon) and of course the sake!It's located in the mall, so perfect if you're hungry after shopping. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. If we ever want to tweak an order (my husband prefers his soups to be half egg drop and half hot and sour) they don't seem to mind at all.Definitely recommend giving this place a try if your craving sushi! Should also point out that the prices are pretty good too!

This is the top contender for sushi and izakaya in Rapid City. Only Sumo is in the same class. Eat in, get take-out or delivery, you will not be disappointed. The sashimi in particular highlights the freshness of their product (quite the accomplishment this far from the ocean).????????

Door-dash driver 1 ordered the food and had to leave after an hour. Door dash driver 2 requested the food, got told they were almost done, and waited for 40 minutes. Door dash driver 3 asked for the food and got told that they just started. The food arrives reheated. Even the fortune cookies were stale. Awful.Edit: the eggdrop soup had a slice of bacon in it, and tomatoes. Neither were listed in the ingredient list we were provided. Also arrived reheated.

I just ordered to go from there and Im really disappointed. Ive been to this place probably a dozen times, but this time my sushi tasted flat and wasn't prepared right. All three of the rolls I ordered were supposed to have spicy tuna and or spicy salmon, but instead it was just whole pieces of fish. The wasabi was barely spicy at (when it didnt seem right i tried just eating a bit by itself and it barely had any heat). The soy sauce even tasted odd (i know it wasnt me because inhad a bottle of kikkoman that i used instead and it tasted perfectly normal).it seems like they're cutting corners now, which is annoying because its the most expensive sushi place in town. I think safeway might even have better tasting sushi (that's not a recommendation for safeway sushi btw, but it would be better than what i just had and 1/3 the price) i wont be going back. Fuji's Steakhouse will be my go to moving forward

Best sushi in Rapid, hands down. Worth every penny and the pricing is pretty great. Such an extensive selection of dishes to choose from, I get the salmon bento every time and the amount of salmon is always perfect. I always get extra rice because even the rice here is exquisite and addictive. Most other places in town let me down with quality after a while, but Fuji has always excelled on every level- from the warm service, to the welcoming and homey atmosphere, to the amazing food that never disappoints. I love this place so very much and I’ll come back every time I have extra $ to throw around!!! Always try something new when you go, so wonderful to experience a taste of Japan!!!

The only time I have ever been disappointed with Fuji was when I went there on a Tuesday. For the past 5 years the staff and food have always been top notch and Wendy has been a delight every single time we've visited. She's seen my daughter's grow up and asks about them if I'm there without them. My highest recommendation isn't enough to do Fuji justice. Go there but remember, if you don't try the Godzilla roll, you're missing out!

Super friendly staff. Asked a question about warming up sake and the woman (who I think is one of the owners) described to me how to warm up sake, which sakes to use, how they do it there, etc. I've always been greeted warmly and interactions are always very positive.The food is bloody amazing. I Love their fried rolls especially. My friends & family always love what they make and there's layers of flavor to every roll.Also very timely, carryout experience great too. Plus they're in the mall so they make for a great location for lunch/dinner then shopping/window shopping.

We got the amazing sushi rolls and salmon teriyaki bento box with miso soup. Everything was delicious, the sushi particularly delicious. I wish the miso soup had more tofu and seaweed.
