Okay. First and foremost, the food does.not.complimemt the atmosphere and service. We never had bad service and the atmosphere is great.The food lacks flavor, seasoning and presentation. I can go back into the kitchen right now and fix the refried beans, carnitas and presentation. The vegetables inside the chimicanga are not uniform. It's a waste of a fine looking establishment and outstanding service. Step it up chef and owners.However, didn't mind the chips and salsa. The queso is a bit runny. Thicken the queso.Overall, we will be back once the food matches the price point.

I just love reading the reviews. Have you ever noticed that the people that leave the bad reviews also have the worst and I mean worst grammar. If you are going to leave a 1 star bad review, where it plainly posts your name, you should probably use a speak and spell or maybe use hooked on phonics. I guess bad review equals bad grammar, poor punctuation and ridiculous spelling.

I’m going to be a little critical of this place. They hit a 10 on the decide and atmosphere but the food is lacking. The fajitas being a main, more pricy dish should have presented a more quality grade beef. The beef was so tough, I was unable to chew most bites.
I've been to this place a total of 5 times in the past year and I've only lived in Rapid City for a year. This is the worst restaurant I have been too. Food tastes nasty, food takes for ever to get even when theirs hardly customers there. Service is the worst they rather not have custoemrs it seems like. the mixed drinks you buy from their alcohol menus is nasty and they don't know how to mixed drinks right, they can't make a margaritas correctly in fact my mixed drink of my time tasted like kitchen and bathroom cleaner spray. Everything is way over priced. The list goes on. It cost me over $100 for three of us to eat absolutely ridiculous.save your money and eat somewhere else.

Authentic Mexican food. Very reasonable prices. Usually long lines because of their delicious food. Not much seating to eat in house, somewhat crowded during lunch and dinner but well worth the wait if you have time. Most people get food to go. I recommend eating by the river.Parking: Park in the back and enter the back door not on the main street directions on Google.

The food was decent, salsa was off. The place said open till 10pm but closed early at about 9pm, they were turning off the lights while we were eating. The server however was very nice and attentive.

The salsa was amazing. Chips were a bit salty. The setting was great but a lot of the food for our group was unseasoned. The steak fajitas were all super pink / undercooked. One of our group’s chicken was dry.
