Never stay anywhere else. Big, clean and comfortable rooms plus you can walk downtown and shop. Great location. Enigma restaurant is really good too.

Our manager booked this place, we told him NEVER AGAIN! The room AC was set on 62, in december! No matter how high we set the thermostat it only blew cold. We called for help & when the guy arrived, HE HAD NO MASK ON (During a Pandemic). It's nearly midnight & he had to crawl into the ceiling to make the fix & before leaving he stood in the doorway for a couple of minutes just staring at us with the door wide open (no privacy).

So, I decided to visit this hotel while visiting Rapid city. The hotel look nice when you walking in etc. I booked a presidential room an it was definitely not what I expected! And for the price you pay I didn’t even have a microwave and things in the room have used by someone else. I tried breakfast this morning and manager/host was very rude! I was waiting to be seated and he asked am I coming in a sarcastic way. It look at least 20 min for someone to acknowledge and take my order. The server just dropped my food in front of me never asked if I need anything else but treated other tables differently. I would never stay at this hotel again!

If you want to be within walking distance of downtown Rapid City, this is a hotel to consider. My #1 piece of advice would be to eat breakfast at the restaurant. No, it's not free but I promise you won't regret anything. We were staying in early November, so the rates were assumedly a lot lower than peak summer season as well. The ambiance of the building is tired but rooms have been renovated in what I would classify as "loft industrial" styling- this won't be to everyone's taste. Parking lot is not very private which caused some anxiety since we were traveling with a lot of luggage. A few small improvements and this property could be a real gem.

Wasn’t even able to tolerate an entire night. Not pet friendly, barely tolerant. Dog potty area was a 12” strip of grass along the parking lot fence, not well lit, or under some pine trees with inches of pitchy pine needle that get my dogs feet covered in pitch. Of course he peed from while running scared from the drag racing cars and gun shots that were also happening. Did not feel safe. When checking out after a couple of hours stay, was told that we would be credited, but was not. There was a sign at the check in/out desk that reads that it is not a quiet and peaceful hotel, so if that is what you’re looking for go elsewhere. Would have been nice if this was advertised this way online when I was researching where to stay. But instead they take your money and reservation, then tell you in fine print this place is loud and crazy. Seems like a bait and switch.

Hotel was great and so was the service! Rooms were very clean and bed was comfy. Hotel in general and the rooms have an older feel with exposed pipes in rooms but decorations keep the room very pleasant. One minor complaint is rooms have no fridge or microwaves. Also walls do seem a bit thin as we heard a party going on down stairs until 230 in the morning. But overall visit was extremely great. Again front desk and person painting the baseboards late at night were all extremely nice. Definitely recommend this hotel as they were also cheaper than anyone for the night.

This hotel is great. The price is good and the amenities are better. The hotels house keeping staff is the unsung heroes of this place. They deserve much praise. I’ll be back for sure.

Hotel was centrally located in town. Close to restaurants and shopping. Food was ordinary for breakfast buffet. Had refrigerator. Cool map on the room wall. Had live music on the weekend but we were not there to hear it. Had a nice firepit outside at night. .
