“This place is amazing! The food was superb -- the best Sioux Falls has to offer, hands down. We had the Cupid's dinner for two last night and it was nothing short of incredible. The scallops were delicious and uniquely served, the filet was a perfectly cooked medium rare (almost impossible to find this done right anywhere these days) and the lobster cake was wonderful. The cream filled pastry puff dessert was the perfect ending. Our server Nikki was the best, very attentive and friendly and quick to come with anything we needed. We can't wait to come back here again. If you come to downtown SF, you MUST try Chef Lance's on Phillips. You won't be disappointed.“
“My daughter and I came for a late lunch lunch wings and wings also a 34OZ BALLI . Everything was excellent except the service. Our waitress was non-existent literally. Although friendly she seemed to be avoiding our table waited 20 min for her to bring our bill and to go box . Sorry but she got NO TIP from us. Off the start, they lost our reservation but they didn't hesitate and seated us after I showed them my online confirmation. No harm no foul.We ordered New Orleans cakes and Margaritas to start. Then Pork Marsala and Creole Jambalaya for entrees. The New Orleans crab cakes were super delish. Nice spicyness on the back end. Reminded me of crab cakes I've had on Bourbon street. The Margaritas for $8 were stiff as a corpse.The Creole Jambalaya was really good but to my surprise, no spicyness at all. I like to sweat when I order Jambalaya. Specially when it has andouille sausage in it. Aside from no spice, it was superb. My wife got Pork Marsala with pearl onions. I can't even describe the deliciousness of this dish. Unbelievable.For dessert we ordered bread pudding and a 2nd round of Margaritas. Every bread pudding I have ever eaten was a yellow bread. This was a dark pumpernickel type bread. It was so good I wanted to lick the plate.Our waiter Josh was quiet at first but I got him to open up and he has some personality on him. Fun waiter. Genuine person for sure. I really have no complaints. I wasn't sure why the menu stated Margaritas were $7 but our bill showed $8. Other than that, with a nice 25% tip, our bill was only $130! “Did not eat any food on this trip to Monks, the Ambiance is great, it's inviting, cool, just has a great vibe! A lot of beers on Tap...50 to be exact! The bar tenders were friendly, attentive & helpful! I tasted 2 different beers that I hadn't had & ended up getting one that I'm familiar with! The bathroom was clean and I just loved all the different type places to sit from "L" shaped tables to cumfy couches, to bar stols to booths to cushy chairs & hightop tables etc. The music was different, but okay, upbeat, some rap type some pop or new age, but I enjoyed my visit! We ended up having lunch while we were there, and the food was every bit as amazing as their take home hams. The staff was very helpful, as always. “Was recommended to eat by a friend who lives in Sioux Falls and they were not wrong by any means. The place was pretty packed on a Monday nighy so I knew that we were about to eat some tasty food! Atmosphere along with decor were very rustic and cool, loved the vibes here. Service was terrific, friendly and fast. The restaurant is long but very narrow. We went to dine there and watch Mogen's Heros perform, but there was standing room only for some people, and quite a lot of others came in, looking for a table but there were none empty.... so they would turn around and leave.Seems to me Paramount should open a wall and expand into Minerva's next door since they already serve their food. I would not recommend Paramount to a large group. You may not get a table near your friends if there is more than 4 of you. But the greatest feature about Paramount is that they offer you the choice of ordering from Minerva's delicious menu (including the huge unlimited salad bar) or from their own Paramount menu.“
