“A team of very courteous and professional serving team. The dishes is uniquely and creatively a fusion of all Asian cuisine, brings a common dish to the next level. absolutely a place to excite the tastebuds. Decor is certainly the feature and is comes with the overall experience. Pricing is reasonably lower than I would expect to pay in Singapore for a themed restaurant with the potential of a Michellin Star candidate, IMHO. Absolutely a place to bring when I have guests from Singapore visiting YXE.“
“This place has been around for about a year and i just discovered it last weekend. I surely regret not having been here before.Hand's down one of the best restaurants of its kind if not the best in Saskatoon. Will come back on a regular basis. Additionally, their prices are great.Try the Chaufa rice and you will know what I am talking about. Although, you cannot go wrong with any dish.“
“Dropped in with a friend on a whim, and we will absolutely be back. Food was hot, fresh, and unbelievably tasty. Prices were very reasonable. Our bill was about $50 and we both left feeling very sated with probably enough leftovers for 2 more meals. Staff was friendly. I should add that I'm vegetarian and my friend is vegan, and we had tons of options.“
“The man that usually serves us is super nice and remembers what we like. :) I really like their vietnamese sub. Their noodle bowls are also really good. We also like their spring rolls and fresh rolls. My husband loves their coconut curry soup. This place is honestly a hidden gem. We love it! 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Been in the GTA the last 10 years and was excited to come back to what was and still the BEST soups, noodle bowls and rolls! Far and away better quality than anything I had in the Toronto area and it must still be the best in Saskatoon. Their base recipes must be very well made, since I have never had a bad meal there .... that it isn't packed from open to close is beyond me! I will be there at least 6 times per month now that we live here again. Glad to be back in Saskatoon ; Toronto has nothing on us!“
“This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Every dish they serve is great and full of flavor, and the prices are fair. If you avoid Chinese food because you think it's greasy, this place will make you love the cuisine. You need to try the pulled pork pancake/sandwich and any dish that has thick cut hand-pulled noodles in it.“
“Absolutely amazing! The food was so delicious and plentiful. It was our first time going here and it definitely won’t be the last. A small cozy family run business, it’s easy the see the pride they take in their food. And they are so kind!! Thank you for the excellent service.“
“Ordered a few dishes but one was chicken chow mein and thought it came with thin noodles from the picture but was thick noodles, called them up and they made us one with thin noodles right away and let us keep the other as well. Were very kind and understanding and everything tasted great! Would order again 100%“
“Ordered from here on skip for the first time. So delicious! We got two noodle bowls and I can probably say this is the best one I've had in a long time! They did not skimp out on anything (particularly the veggies, meat, and peanuts), the meals were really well priced and came with a good portion and were very delicious!“
“First time ordering from here, we got delivery and it was under 45 minutes. Our food tasted very well! It's not greasy, so tasty & fresh. The veggies were still a little undercooked in the mixed veggie dish, which I love because they give texture. We ordered the deluxe wonton soup, sweet n sour pork with pineapple, grilled pork fresh rolls, and stirfried mixed vegetables on vermicelli noodles.“
“Every time we have family gatherings, holidays, Christmas, birthdays, etc, we always get their roastted duck, it's the best in saskatoon. We've tried many here in saskatoon, but they don't compare with the taste and the price you're getting. It's also a pleasure to come and dine in every time. We've been coming here for more than 10 years, and they've always been consistent with the quality of their food. The place might look old and rundown, but trust me that its always clean and their kitchen are always spotless. I appreciate it so much coming from a family with really sensitive stomachs that gets sick with just a little problem with the food, we've never had any problems with the cleanliness and quality. This restaurant has been here for 30+ years, and it's going strong, and there's a reason why. We always bring friends from outside the city to come and eat here and they are never disappointed. This is a family favourite and our favourite orders from them are their dimsums, bbq duck, the braised duck with all meat or sea cucumber, fukchow fried rice, the 3-course peking duck, egg foo young, the sticky rice. The price are also reasonable and their price portion size ratio is very good too!“
“My wife won a $50 gift certificate off Facebook from this restaurant. We never tried this place before. I got blackbean shrimp vegetables and Thai pineapple rice. It was very flavourful and cooked perfectly. My wife got deluxe wonton soup and dinner for one - (chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken breast and a spring roll). She ate it with our child and they still have rice and soup left. I have half of what I ordered left even though I took two bowls full already. They really liked their food too. I'm pescatarian so I don't eat chicken and pork which I didn't realize was in my rice. The girls were happy to take it and eat it. Thai pineapple rice is spicy and I can handle much more spice, so it would be good for someone who wants a little heat without too much. I'm sure we are the last people in the city to try this place but we definitely will try it again soon. There is so much on the menu that looks delicious it was hard to decide what I wanted. Even though this was very good I will try something new next time. The restaurant is clean and was about 80% full when we went in. Very friendly people work here. I'm glad she won that contest otherwise we might have never found this gem in our neighbourhood. Sorry no pictures. It smelled so good when we picked it up that as soon as I unpacked it I immediately dug right in, but trust me it looked good. We have many Vietnamese friends and have had many Asian dishes. We know the difference between alright food and really good authentic tasting food. ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“First time trying this place Order from skip food was delivered at a timely fashion. When I open the food the smell was delightful everything’s very fresh, not greasy order the s&s peach with chicken fried rice and wonton as a combo plate asked for spicy. Not too spicy I would say full of flavour wouldn’t change a thing definitely gonna go back .“
“What a phenomenal experience, my family was welcomed into what felt like home for dinner. I absolutely loved everything about this place. The broths are amazing! There is sooooo much selection. Everything was so fresh and delicious! 10/10 Thank you so much!“
“While it's not the absolute cheapest Vietnamese restaurant in Saskatoon, the quality and service here are impeccable. You can expect to spend $10-20 for your meal and receive a healthy portion. The food arrived in under 5 minutes from when we ordered, so it's perfect for lunch breaks or when you're in a pinch.Vegetarian options: Plenty. No issues hereDietary restrictions: I am gluten free. There were no issues!“
“I was wanting dim sum and my usual place was closed. I googled this place and was not disappointed. It is beautiful and the prices are clearly listed. I forgot to take photos of the food when it was freshly served so what I am sharing is partially eaten.Dietary restrictions: I’m allergic to shrimp so the server made recommendations.“
“Got some really good beef with mixed vegetables and rice plus added chicken for less than 13 dollars taxes in. Worth the money, its definitely good quality for the price and convenience. I'd go again. The meat is really good, and none of the vegetables are old/gross, super happy with what I got. I found exactly what I wanted, healthy meat, vegetables, and rice that tastes good. simple, nothing fancy.“
“Food is "AWESOME" , Nice method of preparayion with perfect blend of spices. Proper Hygine is maintained, customer's satisfaction is their motto. Please ignore few downgraded reviews. The food quality and taste are perfect here. Do give one try for sure?Vegetarian options: Highly hygine process adopted“
“I ordered here 4 times in 5 days of the same food(Cantonese chowmien) and it was consistently delicious! It was so good it became addictive. They had a $10 off on uber eats so I took advantage of that but the quality that they serve is amazing.“
“Ordered takeout dinner for one option B, plenty of food, tasted fresh, not greasy! The one thing that stood out to me most was the above average pieces of chicken and lots of it throughout the chicken fried rice and chow mien, really enjoyed. Don’t hesitate to order from here?“
“This place is a bit far from home; however, they have the best samosas I've ever had! Perfect crunchy texture and delicious filling! Paired with sauces = Perfection! ? Chinmay was very friendly and hospitable! Worth the drive and definitely recommend going here!“
“If you are looking for fantastic hot and sour soup on a buffet..this is it!! Food is awesome, price is actually amazing, as well...$16.45 for seniors! Wow, the fried chicken on buffet is also amazing and garlic shrimp, its all good! Friendly and clean!!Vegetarian options: lots and salad as well!!“
“This was my second visit since it opened, it is not part of my North American palate. It is a great way to experience different food. It reminds me of my grandmothers over the fire tripod-cooking: except this pot of soup has more flavor with spicy options. I recommend the meatballs, I found the sliver if meat too fatty. Your meal is free if it's your birthday.“
“I was in the neighbourhood and wanted a quick bite so I stopped by and quite enjoyed the food! It’s a fairly small place and there were only one other table so it was quiet. I got my food quick (chicken pho with no beansprouts and onions) with a side of Vietnamese roll. Service was good too!“
“We ordered delivery on a Friday evening and it arrived 40 minutes. It's pretty decent timing ? especially since the restaurant is 15 minutes away.We got the dinner for 2 A, deep fried, spring rolls, one egg roll, and a large deluxe wonton soup. The sweet n sour ribs that were in the dinner for 2 were mostly all bone, barely any meat on them, so those were disappointing. The Shanghai noodles in the chicken chow mein were great! Not greasy. The battered deep fried shrimp ? were fantastic! Everything else was alright ?Wonton soup was nothing special. The broth didn't have much flavor. It seemed like it was just vegetable stock from a carton.Other than those comments, I would order from here to try a few other items.“
“From the moment we step to the place you can feel the simple & clean vibes. The staff immediately acknowledge us and guide us to our seats. The food!!! Absolutely amazing. You can feel the fresh ingredients even the side vegetable serve was fresh. There spring rolls was bomb you will know that it was fresh & hot when serve's. We will definitely visit this place again.“
“We have been ordering from this restaurant for several years. Whenever we travel to Saskatoon, I will try and treat our family to amazing Chinese food. This place never disappoints. The portions are very large and the food is very delicious. Our only problem this time was they forgot to send any Plates or cutlery when we had told them we were in a hotel room. They also forgot to send any of the sauces for our eggrolls and for our sweet-and-sour chicken balls. However, one quick phone call to them and they rectified immediately. The food is always so fresh there and it’s a nice little treat whenever we’re in Town.“
“Decent dim sum, but not what it once was. Order through their app. Delivery was fast and accurate. The recipe for some items seems to have changed, but in general the food was good. Good enough I would go again.Understaffed so the staff only have time to do the bare minimum. We got our own takeout containers. And were not the only customers doing. Someone brought water at the end of the meal, but didn't ask everyone. We had a table in the middle of the room and it was loud enough that it was difficult to hold much of a conversation.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible. One handicap parking spot by the entrance. Manoeuvring a wheel chair when it is full might be difficult for some tables so we went early.“
“Love the staff and the menu. Always looking forward to dining there. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.Vegetarian options: They have a salad bar and also some very tasty stir fry dishes.Dietary restrictions: I do keto, there's a number of dishes that can satisfy your taste and keep you in ketosis.“
“Really tasty food and sauces! First time ordering from there and besides a little snafu with skip courier it was really good! The owner or whoever I spoke with on the phone seemed very apologetic! In the end it was still good food and kind service!“
“I used to frequent this eatery with my best friend and we loved the food, if it is still as good now as it used to be about a year or two ago, then it's worth checking out. I say if you're in the area, looking for good Asian cuisine and don't want to spend too much then give these guys a try. I've even included a mouth watering picture.Parking: There is a tone of parking outside the mall that Manchu Wok is located in.“
“Visited this restaurant today based on a friend's recommendation, and it was amazing. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but this place might become my regular spot from now on. It's hands down the best restaurant in Saskatoon. The only thing is, since one person handles everything from cooking to serving, there might be a bit of a wait when it's crowded. However, it's definitely worth the wait.“
“My small Wonton soup had about 10 decent sized wontons in it and it was delicious. Staff didn’t really want to be there it seemed and asking for a tea was an obvious put out but we enjoyed the experience nonetheless. Bathrooms were in good condition and I specifically appreciated the decent toilet paper, little things like that make a big impression.“
“First time eating here. Don’t let the humble atmosphere turn you off. Chef Pan loves food and is an excellent chef. The food is authentic Chinese food so don’t expect sweet and sour pork. BBQ duck is his specialty. It was excellent. Everything was tasty and interesting. Even the simple veg stir fry was perfect. There is a lot of items on the menu and some dishes I was not sure what they were. I recommend looking at the online menu and do a bit of research first. We will come back to this place again and explore the menu. There were some exotic items that look interesting to try“
