I really like going to Red Lobster, the food is delicious, the cheese biscuits are out of this world, the service tends to be pretty good, but the price is just ludacris.Admittedly, I know nothing about the seafood market, but there's just no way I can feasibly eat here more than once per decade. We went to Red Lobster yesterday for lunch. Matt, our server very obviously racialized us and our service sucked but the food was awesome. An older white man wearing an apron was rushing around. I asked him "are you the chef?" He gave us a big smile and humbly said "nah, I do the dirty work." I always tip, mostly the servers. Went for lunch today and was completely impressed by our waiter, Shaf. He went above and beyond making our dining experience amazing, especially after finding out my daughter's bf had never tried seafood before. He was incredibly friendly and helpful. We also noticed him running out to open the outside doors for elderly diners which I have never seen a waiter do before.
