“My wife and I had a great time this Sunday afternoon at the Hillbillys Wing Shack. We had the 20 wing order with teriyaki and salt spices wings. Great taste, service and price. Loved the fresh and crispy onion rings too.”

“Great place to meet a friend or friends. Wonderful menu. Lost of great choices. It is hard to choose what to order. The lunch specials are great. I loved the gumbo! It was a nice serving. I have ordered both cold and specialty coffees. Have to lean on the hot Carmel macchiato with whipcream. Delightful. Roomy , nice chairs, for relaxing, socializing,or reading, while offering tables and chairs to eating and visiting. It's worth the stop, to to go bites and coffee as well.Parking: Limited parking in front. Lots of parking in the back of the coffee shop.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice wheelchair access from the front of the coffee shop.”

“I'm not even sure where to start. Everything far exceeded expectations. It's a 40-minute drive for us... and we WILL be back.But enough generalizing.One thing I HAVE to point out, though, is the chicken tenders. I expected to see a plate full of lame chicken strips from a bag in the freezer. Nope. Three big, beautiful fillets of chicken breast. My son gave me a bite, and I think I might have heard angels singing. Cooked to perfection. So tender and juicy, you barely had to chew it. And that smokey (not overpowering) grill flavor was just to die for.”

“We go for the brisket burger or loaded piggy tails. Otherwise, we haven't found much on the menu we go back for or that is memorable. Consistency isnt a priority, as it seems they often leave things off of burgers or fries, that the menu describes being on them. Like grilled onions on our brisket burger last time we were there. It is supposed to have grilled onions according to the menu. They only have premade sweet tea in the machines and no lemons other than juice packs for it. I think just offering homemade tea would be a huge advantage, as I would return twice as often if I knew there was a good burger and a cold lemony tea, made in house, to enjoy together. There is hardly ever anyone one dining in, so seating is never a problem. We sit at a booth, it's clean and comfortable, and usually a nice place for lunch.”

“It was our first time visiting this area and decided on lunch at a local Mexican restaurant. La Casita has THE best fajita burrito I've ever had. The protein was seasoned so well! I actually finished everything on my plate as did my boyfriend. Both of our servers were very kind and attentive and accommodated to any substitutions/additions we wanted to make to our meals! The chunky guacamole was made fresh and was soooo good! The restaurant was cute and had plenty of booths to choose from!”

“Unexpected good food. While visiting family we were taken to Jack's for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Service was fast and food was fresh. I highly recommend the ham biscuit and hash browns. You won't be disappointed.”

“We have tried all of the coffee shops since moving to Savannah and White Oak Bakery is the best hands down. Bakery items are delicious but the coffee won me over. The owner is always a pleasure to talk to. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!!!”

“Came in today (Friday, March 29) looking for a local coffee shop as we were in town. Selah caught my eye naturally from the unique name. I ordered their specialty Cookies n' Cream Frappe and I was thoroughly pleased. The quality and design of the drink was outstanding. The service was timely and very polite. Overall, the shop had a great atmosphere, in part due to the friendly staff and peaceful decor. Would recommend this shop to anyone.”

“Be sure to add this place to your list if you're out on the river. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because there aren't enough people showing up here. They have TVs, pool tables, food, and of course beer. The awesome thing is they have a dock to where you can pull up in your boat, too. Pay these folks a visit. They deserve more service than they are currently receiving. It's a little hidden gem.”

“We called mid week to make reservations for 11, and told at our 3:00 time, it wouldn't be necessary! But when we arrived at 3:00, were told we'd be seated when all had arrived. 2 due to car trouble, were running late. the rest of us were seated anyway before they arrived. Others were having desserts as the the 2 were eating! As one was having his dessert, he was getting an evil eye from; I guess the manager; who was rude from the beginning! We talked about repeating this monthly, since it's half way between Florence and Huntingdon.”

Around $50 or so with drinks before tip.Most restaurants with that quality would be $75 - $100 or more.”

“This place is wonderful the service is amazing they're very friendly in this place and serve the food out pretty quick they have a decent choice of food items to pick from and they even have truck parking or RV parking so you have room to get some grub... “Y’all ready I actually lived here my entire life so I’m a bit partial to the area, I’ve been coming to the River Heights Restaurant before my feet would touch the floor in a normal chair and the food was good then and it is now.Now this is not a 5 star restaurant and it’s not meant to be, it does has a good atmosphere it very clean and that’s important these days and the food is really good not Ruth’s Chris good but really it doesn’t cost 100’s either.Our server Britney was over the top!! Great job!!So come on by you won’t be disappointed I certainly haven’t in 30 years!!Also here’s the most current menus”
